Since we are talking about controllers and M/K...
I like using M/K for walking around and doing any kind of shooting/aiming type stuff and controller for driving/riding stuff.
Just my 2 cents.
Also is there a way to fix the cars... I think I almost (car is smoking or on fire) destroyed half the towns cars.

imho, the yunpan link is the best for update1.
Is controlmk good?
I'VE used alot of the other keymappers, but never tried controlmk.

I use GlovePie for mapping any input devices..
Supports, K/M,Wii, 360 and any other type of control device to be mapped.
Even some obscure control devices that I've never used or heard of.
It's standalone script based and you just write a simple script to map whatever to whatever.
It supports basic cmdline to launch, inother words you can create a shortcut to the script passing the game exe and it'll launch your game with your script active and ready to rock with your mapped key/buttons/movement sensors/etc.

In steam there's a guide of sorts, to use KB and mouse.
Quickly (flyin' really) scoped through the 5 pages of this th to see if there was mentioned..

Is that the best option right now?

Last question, the mirrors on MEGA and Putlocker by pakrat are compatible with those on FTS site/version?
Already got 1gb part so it's just 700mb for the part2, no biggie.. but I'm over the limit on putlocker so
IF it isn't compatible/interchangeable, will have to wait 24 hs.

Please let me know. Thanks alot!

EDIT: Mega and putlocker (and 180's ) are parts of 500 mb, so I would not know which part do I need. Guess I'll stick with FTS putlocker links.

Thanks for the links kevinyang225.

Game works quite well for early access in the brief I've played of it.
Surprised I get a warning nag (which I ignore) when launching the game that my video card is unsupported and may cause stability issues, CryEngine 3 in any other game knows my card.
Image
I get a solid 60fps @1080p with settings on maximum (maybe that will change as I progress through the game).

Mapped my WASD to Arrow keys, Right Shift sprint, Right Ctrl crouch, Numpad0 reload, page down for torch, Home for Map, End for inventory...
Still getting my keys comfortable for my use, just need to map the 2 button press keys to a single keys.
eg: taunt, cheer, drop item ...etc

I'm now looking forward to the full pc release of the game.
Never played it on console.

I want to change the keys, may I ask you how you do that? I tried to unpack the .pak archives using quickbms to edit the config files but the compression method was changed, in the past these archives could have been opened with 7zip...

Same here. Was much easier for me to play it with m+kb. Guess me, prudislav and TheWave are more used to that combo that a controller.

Thank You for the link to that thread familiarr.Strangerr.
Pinched the quickbms.exe and zip2.bms from the GUI package and wrote my own Key Mapping/ Game launcher gui.
I just drop my exe into SOD game directory and I can map my keys from my gui.
(I pinched most my GUI code from a key mapping utility I wrote for Mars Wars Logs a while back....lol)
Still got a little bit of code to tidy up before I compile my gui, but it's functioning fairly well so far.

Wait a sec,Isn't JJBoonie the guy from this forum. That is very daring and fearless of him to show his steam profile with spacewar and trine 2 demo which probably is Payday 2 cracked.I'm just concern about people who doesn't keep a low profile for themselves and their precious account.Image
