why does it say im playing serious sam HD on steam when i use the steamworks thing, and im not sure if the multiplayer is working or not it just says searching groups, not sure how long im supposed to wait.

Its probably using serious sam's appid. That way you are able to play in MP but the group search will only look for unepic games that are hosted using the same appid, that means everyone who uses this fix. Also I believe I read somewhere that to play over WAN you need to poen some ports, otherwise the group wont be visible. The best way to play MP is with a friend you got either in your friends list or you are in a group with. That way one can open a group and the other can be invited via steam friends. Thats how I got it to work.

short review:
Played together with one friend, MP game is extremely annoying.
- There arent enough coffins around, so one always has to walk half a mile to get back to his death place.
- We made it to level 2, where those floating mobs appear, which poision you. The problem is in SP you would have already a bow and a means to buy more arrows. You also have one spell already. So you can just snipe them. Here in MP you have to rely on melee and even with the spear you get poisoned. Its not always possible to evade quick enough. Just to kill those balls in the beginning we hade to die like 5 times each of us. And then youd have to walk all the way back. And thats with every mob in level 2, since they are all ranged attackers. No fun at all.

With 1.43.3 version the game become easier. You can buy essentials, arrows, spells, skills and respec orb in town, 3 keys from bosses, and equipment now suffers only 4% damage adter the death. No hardcore at all.

I can confirm the issue .. no servers/lobbies to be found using the fix .. so i guess you must run it at the same time with people who already has and using the fix ,, otherwise tunngle is available but i doubt the game is listed in the servers list .

  52.     Daniel was just an average guy. He was a great videogame player, a big
