the Gog update is DIFFERENT from the Steam one: it's a minor update (it changes the \data\data_10_scripts.bin file ONLY)
let's hope they will release a serious update, it deserves it.

Yes, but unlike AC3 you can get more speed by lowering graphics settings.
Wait till AC4. Next gen only means even more shitty optimization.

I run AC3 at a locked 60 FPS with max settings which makes this all the more ridiculous.

I'll give this update 2 a go and see if it helps any.

Hi all,

We've uploaded the latest patch for Shadow Warrior (2013). This will bump up your game to version 1.0.2.

Here's what's changed:


- Fixed many crashes.
- Gozu freeze bug fixed.
- Troll shield now always breaks after troll's death.
- Custom katana selection hack blocked.
- Fixed several places through the game where players could get stuck or
fall below level geometry.
- Safe mode added.
- French, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian language packs added.

Also, to verify that the patch installed and that you have the latest version you can check by enabling the console (by pressing ctrl+ ~ ) type in _version , and press Enter.

note: the patch (Gog) previously released by kevinyang is not v.102, it's just a day-zero patch that updates a file named "\data\data_10_scripts.bin".

I have FLT release with FTS update, I can finally play the game in French and without problem.

I was able to add the language pack into the gog version.
It's not perfect though :(
The only problem to iron out is that wen the game is in Spanish, the Ñ is not visible. But, oh well.

I placed the files in GAMDEDIRECTORY/data
Then, went to Documents/Shadow Warrior/cache and deleted all that is there.
Now, the game shows the fonts AND all the languages. Then. I tried to, put all the files from the update of the STEAM version, deleted cache again, and now I have all the DLC's while before, I only had one sword. :D

NOTE:
3dm latest Gog update is 1.02 (check the game executable and patch_notes.txt in the game directory), it's NOT 1.03. 1.03 patch is not yet officially released for Gog, only on Steam for now.
