pai wrote: Hmm. Might it not be the case that the RS1 DLC is in songs.psarc, but the RS1 on-disc is "rs1compatibilitydlc"? There the "dlc" means that it is a DLC for Rocksmith 2014, not RS1 DLC.
I guess there's not much point in speculating though! I believe the RS1 songs are indeed different files and the DLC also because alot of songs can now use arrangements and special notes there werent before (like those bends which now tell you HOW to bend the string and how much, instead of JUST bend and hope it takes it) also I read just after my prev post there was a problem with steam and the DLC so that got answered almost immediatly lol.. I shall upload all my DLC as soon as I get the fixed steam DLC for rocksmith 2014 (the RS1 DLC)

I know this was asked before, but when can we expect the "no cable fix"? Is it a tough job creating this kind of fix? Tnx, for the reply.

Anyone have the same problem than me ? every time I want to play it tell me that my guitar volume isn't loud enough. my guitar has it at max, my cable is a working one (and does it with another cable) and my windows setting are at 100/100 when i start the game. and the game it self put it at "17" any idea to prevent it to happen?

You can alt-tab during the game and increase the value of 17 to something more reasonable like 50 (or more if it's still not loud enough). Unfortunately it'll reset every time you launch the game.

First I want to thx for upload and crack. About minigame freezing at the end we already know. My problem is that two times when i try to play "paint it, black" game starts to lagging with use of cpu over 50% (i5 3570k) and it keeps lagging after that. Anyone knows how to fix that?

I played the song (no lag). You can try to select in your system/advanced settings, background service. Sometimes helps to solve lag issues.

No, upon launch the game alters the volume for the realtone cable in Windows (under recording devices). It's not an in-game setting. It sets the level to 17, which can be a bit quiet.

Let me tell you more clearly ^^ My game keep all it's ini config file as it should it run fine Now I put my microphone (Rocksmith cable) Input volume to 50 (so no gain nothing just "Normal") And then I start the game it show me powered by wwise <- hehe then after it on the title screen of the game I go check my microphone input volume windows And there my volume is at "17" so every time I have to put it back to 50 else my chors is not well taken by the game. and tuning is a total hell. so if there a software to check that volume slider and make it at a desirated value and prevent anything else than mouse to ajust it would just be fine

I seem to recall RS1 did that as well ! Because I remember Real Tone always being on "17" in the volume settings.

Any of you guys find a way to start songs at like 50% instead of zero? even hitting 100% is taking forever to get the songs up... and i have to do it at home also.. bah...

Yeah, if you start the riff repeater, you can increase song difficulty. The way to do that is to, after opening up the riff repeater, select all sections of the song, and then put the difficulty up. It's not very convenient but it sure beats having to play through at 0% difficulty.
