I seem to recall a screenshot/video where you could pick your difficulty early on so that all songs would start at 25-50-75-100%, has anyone found that ?

I think that the firewall is the key (not sure). This with 16 bit 48000Hz Dvd Quality option ( never changed). I didn't pause the game (this time) and after the game over the result was freezing screen. I discovered also this in the videodump file: 00069362: : NiRenderer ERROR: Failed to find texture data/assets/guitarcade/ducksplus/env/bkg/dkp_ducks_m.dds but probably is just a report of the freezing issues. So, basically, disable firewall is useless. Pause works (i don't know why  ) but is not the correct way (for the Leaderboards score). I tried also to set Quality cd (freezing again). Session mode is very nice!

Apparently I'm missing a step here. Downloaded. Copied into Rocksmith that I got from kickass torrents, but Uplay keeps asking for activation code? What am I fudging up?

Sounds like you did it right.. thats all i did.. make sure you are using the skidrow crack...

There's your issue probably : the crack has *4* files, not 3. Make sure your AV isn't deleting a file.

The only crack that I've seen is what machine provided for us. I saw a 3DM crack somewhere but I haven't seen it posted alone so I haven't gotten around to check it. Machine's crack which is posted on the front page works with DLC (will verify in an hour when I'm at home), and contains 4 files in it.
