Original cars. We discussed this issue few pages back, with no result.
Of ourse I went trough everything that might have an effect on the sound problem, including trying wiht other audio device, reinstalling the whole game, and the windows, tried every option in the game, installing updates, with no effect!:(

So I think this is a perfect simulator, but just like all other italian product(such as Alfa Romeo) it is beautiful, it is enjoyable, but FUCKING UNSTABLE AND FULL OF BUGS!
I say this not just based on my experiences with the game. There all over a lot of people having various problems.

Ok, so what's your rig and your settings? I've actually never had any problems (aside from figuring stuff out on my own while modding cars myself for the game) and I run on an ASUS K55N AMD A8-4500 8GB RAM with the 7640G gpu. The only real issue I have is with the steering on some cars, but that's because I'm using an xbox360 gamepad instead of a proper wheel/pedal setup. lol Maybe we can figure out why you're having problems. I'm assuming you tried different audio settings in-game. Also, try different audio settings on the card level (cd instead of dvd, I'm currently running 24bit 192000Hz studio quality--never had a problem as far as sounds go). And disable 'enhancements' as well if your audio processor supports such.
As a side note, check out Smallblock Hero rfactor/assetto corsa mods on facebook. We have a lot of great cars, and if anyone wants to learn how to port cars over, we're always willing to lend a hand.

Hmm I tried everything what I can. The mistery is that aprox. 3 weeks ago suddenly all engine sounds came alive and everything went fine. But next day they went out again. That is why I think not the sound card or the audio setting is responsible for loss of all engine sounds. I think the game itself is the guilty about this... somehow it just FUCKED! Sorry but Im a bit pissed off

Sometimes the game just does not start, it freezes during startap... sometimes quits to windows in a blink of an eye.

I've read on different forums, many dude has exactly the same "no engine sound" problem, without solution.
That is the big deal.

Tick the checkboxes infront of "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" and "Give exclusive mode applications priority"

There is no audio section, but i have an "audio.ini" file. Ive copied your lines to both file, still no engine sounds

What about your Windows audio settings? Have you changed the sampling or anything? Some people are having better luck with using CD (16-bit, 44100Hz) instead of DVD (which I think is Windows' default). Experiment with that some too.

So, guys does anyone here know how to contact any of the cracking groups?

because when they crack the next version of assetto corsa, they need to look at the dedicated server as well. because there is some protection in there as well. The moment the dedicated server detects tunngle it will stop working.
