Thanks but i don't know what can i put in steer, brake and throttle..

For example if i put the line "brake" XBOXBUTTON=X in the folder controls.ini the game doesn't start..

How can i do to resolve that and assign buttons..?

i'd like to have that things to play assetto with my xbox360 pad -> for brake = X button / for throttle = A button / for steer = Directional Pad button

I remember having asked on the official forum of AC whether it's possible to assign a button for throttle (not a stick) for gamepad users and they replied telling me that it's not possible and won't be considered in the future as they focus on players who have a wheel. I'm using the RumblePad 2 from Logitech and I configured my gamepad as a wheel so that the left stick is for steering and the right one for throttle and brake. I think it's alright...

For me i don't like that.. I'd like very to know how i can set that to have my xbox360 pad -> for brake = X button / for throttle = A button / for steer = Directional Pad button

I think all it's possible just find the solution to made that..

Im getting wierd error when trying to launch the game, it says:

"An unforseen event has caused Assetto Corsa launche to retire from the race."

Has the crack been nuked or am i doing something wrong?

I can launch the game from the acs icon but then i cant choose either car or track.

no the crack is not nuked!! and since the game is still a BETA release.. its no suprise people have issues, you just happen to be one of the unlucky ones..
i fortuantely have had no issues..

To fix the problem with the crashing launcher do the following:

1. Go to: assettocorsa\launcher\support
2. Rightclick CEF3.dll and go to properties
3. Allow the system to use it (since the files are from another computer)
Additionally (if it still doesn't work)
4. Do the same with all other files in the support folder
5. Give yourself all the rights to all folders - For that do the following:
5.1 Open the properties of the main folder (assettocorsa)
5.2 Security
5.3 edit - Full rights to all users
6. Stay in the properties and go to the first tab
6.1 Remove the read-only cross
7 click on ok.

It should work now - Atleast it did for me.

Yeah, the newest update includes drag racing, really excited to try that out. Pretty sure it will only be against AI, but it's better than nothing. :wink:
