Can you put the Historical Immersion Project up for download Please :)

here you go :)

Released 2014-05-24. For CKII 2.1.4
http://www.mediafire.com/download/sjipa ... P_-_RoI.7z

Installation:

Unzip everything inside the downloaded .7z archive (normally "HIP - <RELEASE DATE>.7z") directly into your mod folder.
Run HIP.exe, which was unzipped into your mod folder.
Answer the questions the command line asks. Default is "yes" for every question.
Enable HIP through the launcher and start the game.
Optionally delete python27.dll, library.zip, HIP.exe, main.py, the original .7z archive, and even this file. You will probably want to keep at least the original .7z archive, though.

Many thanks for the link ;)
Simple install and no game crashes so far.
Also, I installed it over the latest 2.1.5.5 beta patch. I have no problems while playing the game, but I didn't play for too long to confirm that there are no issues.
kudos for you mate :DRINK:

Better gender law mod
INFO:
NOTE: If you set up the Lilithian Papacy, you will need to have a 64 bit system with at least 4 GB of memory, or the game will crash after a little while.

For anyone who's tried modding in the variations of enatic succession, or really played with absolute cognatic, you've probably noticed that the vast majority of the game's mechanics don't effectively deal with this kind of succession. You're still using men for all your counselor positions, and your sons still demand land for themselves while the women just carry on for the most part as if nothing has changed.

This mod makes it so that all your jobs other than the Lord Spiritual can be given out based on what type of succession you have. Both men and women if cognatic, only men if either type of agnatic, only women if either type of enatic (unless they have a special flag). They'll also all ask to replace your current adviser if they're better suited for the position. Close female relatives will also request land if you have a succession law that lets them be given it, and men won't ask at all if you have a type of enatic succession.

You can also change which succession law you have across the whole spectrum so long as you aren't Muslim, Tengri, or a republic. For now, there is no restriction beyond playing as a woman if you want to push towards enatic, and playing as a man if you want to push towards agnatic. Switching between agnatic and agnatic-cognatic or enatic and enatic-cognatic has no restrictions other then you can't disenfranchised yourself.

The base game is otherwise completely unaltered, beyond the king of Navarra having absolute cognatic law by default early on, and the cathars no longer getting free use of women in counselor positions. Instead, they have a special decision that lets them switch to absolute cognatic succession at any time if they don't have it already.

There are also new decisions for employing stewards and a young nobleman depending on your gender law. I've also set it up so that women can become adventurers in Absolute cognatic or enatic style realms, who will try to make their own enatic realms. The claim CB has been altered to disallow men pushing weak claims on women without another reason in cognatic or enatic realms, while women can use weak claims on men for no other reason in enatic realms. I've also changed claimant factions slightly, so they use the same rules.

What this mod doesn't change are the negative opinion modifiers with male rulers for having a female ruler or heir, landless sons costing you prestige (no way to mod this without removing it completely), being able to give land to men under enatic succession, or the current set up for religions.

Oh, and for now, all feudal vassals will assume the same type of succession law as their liege. I have plans later for vassals to attempt to faction to force the same law type on their liege if the liege changes it, but right now it is this way so that all your vassals aren't all using agnatic-cognatic, even if you give a new title to them.

Changelog
V1,94 (3-6-2014):
  • Solved a very strange issue with the Maryite Matriarchy, I have no idea how it was screwed up, but apparently changing the date in the history file from 20 to 21 solved the issue. Note that this only fixes new games, for old ones, open the console and type 'event BGL.168' to create the Maryite Matriarchy.
  • The Manichean Zoroastrian heresy now allows female priests and prefers absolute-cognatic succession with male preference (note that they're the one Zoro heresy that doesn't have divine blood or allow concubines in the base game).
  • Made it so that holy orders can spawn for Maryites and Lilithians.
  • Added an alert decision/event to tell the player to choose a gender preference under cognatic, and an option to trigger voting on the law.

Known issues:
  • Titles that were given out to alternative heirs through gavelkind still use the default succession law.
  • When using the change gender law decisions, the list of successors is not refreshed. In non-elective realms, you will either need to reload, wait for your ruler to die, or have a child for this to change. In elective ones, the only issue is that votes for candidates that don't qualify for the title will maintain their votes until their supporters change their votes to someone else.
  • Under Free Investiture Law, women cannot be appointed as successors to bishoprics in Lilithian realms.
  • Sons generate landless son prestige loss regardless of gender law.
  • Landless men can be granted titles under enatic and enatic-cognatic succession even without a claim on the title. The AI will give out land to men over women no mater what gender law they're using.
  • Random female Councillors are all age 30.

Post subject:  Re: Crusader Kings II

All links are in the first post (main post).

I tested mp with friend/friends and works fine.
Multiplayer will work if you use SteamFix.
One thing to know... you and other players who wants to join your room must set same download region, for example London - UK. If you don't do that, then you guys can't see each others...

!!!WARNING!!! Multiplayer is still not fully working... games have a lot of sync issues. This is PARADOX problem and not related to crack or steam fix. You can see that on paradox forum. MP games sometimes work fine, and then sometimes they get a lot of sync issues. !!!WARNING!!!

BTW they released 2.1.5.6 beta, but i will not post it because have some stupid bugs and soon will be full 2.1.5. Btw with new major update they will update and some DLCs, that mean that we need to grab new updated dlcs files.

CK2+
DOWNLOAD:
Hello everyone, I bring good news. As you may have learned in schwarherz' thread, the CK2Plus Continuation team has decided to stop work on the mod due to real life issues, a lack of manpower, and just being burnt out in general. Coincidentally, this was revealed right when I asked to help out with the update. I have some basic experience with modding in general (I currently maintain the BOSS Masterlist for Oblivion), but I have just started getting into CK2 recently. Schwarherz asked if I was interested in taking over for him, and of course I couldn't pass up on the opportunity.

It's been hard work, but with excellent guidance from zeress and schwarherz I can safely say we are tentatively on track for a release in two weeks at the latest. This depends on the amount of help we receive, but once it's finished we can all enjoy CK2Plus being fully compatible with RoI and the latest version of CK2!

Now, this is where you fine guys and gals come in. Since I have no prior technical knowledge of CK2Plus, It's currently unclear what specifically needs to be fixed outside of the de Jure layout and the provinces. I have fixed a LOT of bugs that I've come across on my own, but the team has no time to actually sit down and play the dev version. In the interest of getting out a more stable release in a shorter amount of time, we need help with beta-testing.

CK2Plus uses GitHub, so you can follow our progress as well as submit issues for us to fix directly. If you make a bug report, please make sure you are playing on the latest version of CK2 (2.1.4) and using the dev version of CK2Plus. Bug reports should be made in this thread or on GitHub (preferred) instead of the main Bug Reports thread, as the current threads will be locked and new ones made once we get closer to release.

If you have any questions for me or about CK2Plus in general, feel free to post in this thread.

Known Issues:
  • Some modules have major issues/will cause CTDs (Base CK2Plus is high priority, modules come after, it will be good to note which ones don't work however.)
  • Some Duchies only have one province or seem imbalanced (Some provinces need to be added, in progress)
  • Some de jure titles need to be restored (In progress)
  • India is imbalanced (Low priority for this release)
  • Some localization needs work

Default Installation Checksum: XPSS
CK2 Version: 2.1.4

Zip Archive (Awaiting Authorisation) -> LINK

Remember to UNINSTALL previous versions of Elder Kings before installing a new version or you run the risk of conflicting files.

Known Issues
  • Clothing/Headgears are missing, or hair bleeds through them across various portrait sets ~ This is a sideeffect of some rewriting we're doing to scripts concerning clothing in preparation for our custom clothing sets coming up in the next couple of patches.
  • Hair Colours on some of the Mer don't suit their race/skintones (for example, Maormer Females have standard "human" colourings, while the males have blues, greens). ~ Resolved for 0.1.5a
  • Falmer have no dynasties assigned.
  • Due to the way special units are handled in CK2 now, Mages have been partially overwritten by Horse Archers again. 0.1.6 will include an overhaul of Unit types and tactics.
