Clear_Skies wrote: First off, I've been lurking through here a couple of days and some of the links posted here have been very helpful, so all of you have my thanks. However, I seem to have encountered two problems with both the newest patch and the HIP mod, and I can't really access the forums for obvious reasons. The first issue is that after the 2.32 patch the launcher won't recognize the Celtic face pack dlc I possess, and as a result it doesn't work in-game. After some experimenting I've found out that the problem is that I edited the gfx file in the .zip archive some months ago in order to change the hair color hue of Celtic characters to my liking. This wasn't an issue with the 2.3 patch as I've downgraded my game to see and it worked fine. How to fix this? Is there any way to mod the file and make the changes apply without re-archiving it? Because that seems to be the issue. I figure there ought to be a way to mod DLC files or maybe their anti-pirating measures are really that dense. The second issue is with the HIP mod itself. Apparently playing as both the Byzantines and the Persians seems to give you western units on the map. I haven't checked with others cultures so I can't say if it applies to everyone. It's really immersion breaking to see a pale red-bearded Frankish soldier in Mesopotamia and southern Persia, even if it's just a model for an army. I just would like to see if others have that issue so I can hope for a next patch or possibly a way to fix it myself. EDIT: I've managed to solve the thing with the face pack, and the second issue pertains to the EMF module, as installing the mod without it makes everything function correctly. However, I'd really like that module included so any info on that would be appreciated. i notice that it is project balance inside hip mod that cause all unit form diffrent culture have same model (which is western troop model), but i still cant find solution to fix this. i would be very grateful if u guys solve this problem |

For the last three days I thought I was the only one with this problem. If this is a somewhat common problem the worst case scenario is to wait for them to fix it. Does anyone know when can we expect a new HIP version that hopefully patches this issue? What's the approximate time between updates? |

Can someone post the Lux Invicta readme/FAQ? It's not included in the downloads on the repository, and it says read that if you're having performance issues. |

I don't have high hopes but I have free time, and if I figure out anything useful I'll post it here. Thanks for the info. |

I had the same issue, i played for about 70 years ingame, thriving on slave trade in egypt, but i stopped playing because the time was passing very slow and it was crashing every ≈6 months. Even though i have great proccesor (= to low tier i5's) and 4 gigs of ram ( the game at max used ≈2 gigs). I went back to vannila because atlease there i can play 400 years on perfectly smooth non crashing game. If anyone has a link to Magnate Lords mod, if possible please share a link or atleast thoughts on the mod. If it is worth using for enjoyable fast stable game. |

galeseptim wrote: to be honest i didnt realize before i saw your comment Solved it. I still have no idea what's precisely the cause of the problem, because I expected it to be a file related to units or graphics. Project Balance is indeed at fault, but deleting the retinue sub-folder didn't solve anything for me so you can restore it again. The solution is... to simply delete the 'titles' sub-folder in the Project Balance 'history' folder. Don't ask my why, but the good thing is it shouldn't affect any mechanics/features of the mod whatsoever. It's just a record of past rulers for any held title, and vanilla has that already, so by deleting it you're not losing anything. Enjoy the mod. |

Can someone please post the latest version of the mod Friends & Foes? I tried "extracting" it from the lux invicta folder, but it only made the game start with a empty event bug (although i tried launching it with HIP), but i really wanted those two working together. The new map looks awesome, but they won't do a Charlemagne one =/ |
