Could anyone tell me how to create your own subscriptions for a single game which is not in the Subscriptions? The last reply about this required the use of the 61_Steam_Master.

i did everything as said but i dont have the games, what can i do? i can play games i have installed from other accounts now, but all the like 2000 games do not show up in my steam what can i do against that |

One option is to get the updated acf and manifests files from the game and get the latest game files manually

How? Where did you get the data? And which Hex Editor? I can't interpret anything from a single subscription!  -- Edit-- I use Hxd (Hex Editor). The sub files appear to be encoded, making it difficult to interpret. |

Thanks a lot Shlak!  That is really helpful. Could it be that outdated depots may be the cause of the "invalid depot config error?" Also how did you get from "35952" to "708C00?" Could you explain that a little? Secondly, what goes in under "Account Info" and could you do another example for a Game instead of a DLC? |

Thank you! That is very helpful. I have a few questions: 1. Before this crack was patched in April/May 2014, was it possible to download and install any pay-ware game? 2. Shlak, could you give me am example of what goes under "Account Info?" --Edit-------- Disregard! One more... 3. Why are there multiple "App ID's". I thought that a game could only have one ID. (The Hex highlighted in green on your picture) APPID APP TYPE NAME 217941 DLC Sniper Ghost Warrior 2: Digital Extras 232644 DLC Sniper Ghost Warrior 2: Multiplayer Expansion Pack 232646 DLC Sniper Ghost Warrior 2: Soundtrack Disregard this question, I have found the answer! Ok, so I patched a fresh "packageinfo.vdf" file using the "61_Steam_Master" file and then set it to Read-Only. Now I have 2903 games available. And I have also downloaded CS: Global Offensive from the "Steam Content Sharing" section of the forum (link), and now when I press the "Play" button it asks to be updated. Just how, exactly, do I update it? |
