to host you need 1 player in the garrage, then the other player must be on the search online sub menu, choose the specific host played game then press shift+tab try n try, disable any firewall for both computer.

So if you choose Lan in the Launcher, you start without steam and if you choose Online you start with normal Steam in background, right?

right.

doesn't seem to work >.< One Player stands in the Garage, the other searches for the game and it doesn't find anything...Shift+Tab only gives "Host not in area where co op is available" (Using Tunngle with disabled firewall and LAN-Mode in that Launcher-Menu)

There is nothing else to do to improve fps in these game!?!

I tested this just to see if it would work and the FTS Update 2 works over the codex release. I had a game save and that works too. Loaded up with no issues.
I am able to continue my playthru of DR3 where I left off from the codex release.

What I did....

1. Download the FTS Update 2
2. Install it into your Dead Rising 3 Codex release directory overwriting the existing files.
3. Delete the codex.ini (make note of your username before doing this) file from the root of your DR3 Folder.
4. Copy over the crack files from Update 2 and overwrite the files in the DR3 directory when prompted.
5. Change your username in skidrow.ini to the username you had in codex.ini

If you don't do this I don't think the game will find your existing game save. Could be wrong but since I changed mine in the codex release, I changed it for the update as well.

Nothing's changed for me after installing the update.. my GPU is still used at 50% max and i encounter big framerate drops in some areas..
I had my fun in it anyway, i guess the time has come to put it in the trash

Post subject:  defrag

I have discovered that defragmenting the paritition where the game is installed helps for fps gain...
I use contig app that was used for GTA IV, (remember?) so try that, maybe iit helps...
(I could be wrong anyway, just try it...)
