it just sucks the fun out of the game for me, im like there no point in playing now so i end up leaving the match, its happened a few times over last month

that's why i don't play with this so called dumb humans....their dumber than the dumbest bots/ai around haha!

Convery101. So far the game is great and I appreciate you/your team for working so hard on this. I saw there is going to be some anti-cheat in the future updates. I have a real copy via steam with all DLC purchased but I use this copy to noclip/cheat to see how the zombie maps work. Nothing is more frustrating than surviving 20 levels and not knowing how some of the puzzles work in the game. I have no desire to get a VAC ban because of this on my steam account and I hate cheaters when it is abusive.

Will it be safe to use a trainer when in Zombies/solo/lan mode with this proposed update? Maybe a feature like this could be added to explore maps.

Just bouncing ideas. Regardless - thank you so much for the game that I can actually edit and mess with.

The anti-cheat will only be active in online mode and while connected to official servers. Userhosted servers like LAN routers will not have any anti-cheat.

About LAN... is it supported as of now?

I find myself getting a host of invites to private matches while playing multi online, which prompts me to press the F9 Key on my keyboard too join them, but when I press the F9 key to join... nothing happens, I don't get sent to the invited match? :?

I would not even be mentioning this if it were just a one match invite, but I find myself getting tons of invites from a wide variety of players to join them, but for some odd reason when I click the F9 key I can't join them?

Does the LAN invite system even work?

Because we only deliver an invite every 5 or 10 sec. To prevent flooding. If someone sends 3 invites to you then only the last will work.

I don't really follow what you are saying?

You would have to download the rank hack separately of of the Redacted website.

Think he's just adding to Royal's comment.
Note that the rankhack is not required to make it work though.

Redacted put this on facebook

Things coming up with next release:

1. Complete rewrite of the whole system, faster, more stable, scalable, x64_x86.
2. Modular components, there will be the steam_api and plugins for all features.
3. Largely opensource, open APIs.
4. All functionality the steam version provides (theater, emblems, streaming).
5. User hosted servers, these servers take 25 to 255 users for LAN and clans.
6. Optional friendslist changes that lists all online users rather than 'friends'.
7. Support for all Steam versions (even latest).
8. Full DLC support.
9. New forum on another site, because this one should be purged by fire.
10. More offline functionality.
11. Crappy anti-cheat.
12. Really advanced anti-cheat with VMs and crap. Wont be done anytime soon.
13. Support for other games.
All in all, most components have three times as many lines of code as the latest nightly. Things take time.

ETA: Early November-ish is the goal but could change.

Got error 0x63221 - 0x274D when launching --- someone on Redacted forum suggested to re-install the nightly, so I did that, and now it all works fine.

All that sounds good.

I hope early Novemberish, cause this nightly client is crap!!!

Even the stable client is no better!

I am really looking forward to the dedicated servers, sick an tired of playing TDM, would like to get some objective gameplay in :)

One question to the Redacted team.... what about player card customization?

I can create one an use it while I am playing, but when close out my game an restart Black Ops II my player card is gone an I have to create another one?

Any chance a player card support in the future?

For anyone else having this problem --- it ended up happening again, but this time I just overwrote the steam_api file with the one from newdll.zip and the problem has not returned since. I just noticed that they removed newdll.zip from the download page, so maybe they've included it in the nightly package...

It was already in the nightly package, the newdll link was just there so people that already had the 'old' nightly wouldn't have to redownload the whole file.
The link was probably removed because all people that already had that nightly have already updated.. That, or someone forgot to put it back when he relaunched the dl page ;)
