No, Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. Removed and reinstalled the SPDT Driver (v1.86) several times, without any luck.

May be your antivirus, try to disable.
Try also to disable "UAC". http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7/
Are you Administrator on your PC ?
Have you restart your PC after installation ?

And doubt your caring matters at all in the first place. What's done is done.

Point in case, what he revealed wasn't exactly a secret in the first place. Everybody knows about emulators and so will the people at 2K who wrote this activation tool. I mean if you emplace some form copy protection in your software, you do that because of piracy. Their tool does nothing but checking the validity of the disks, which exactly is the point of disk-based DRM - you can expect them to know what they're up against....
Don't think that the people who code such stuff are all stupid - it's just that if they haven't handed out any keys, they have no better option at handling this. It strikes me however that they sold a multiplayer game without unique CD keys.

tools are :
1- wincdemu
2- the borderlands mini image
3- iphlpapi securom (dll that disable securom protection ) dont forget to disable antivirus cause this dll detected as a virus

disable uac
install wincdemu
restart pc
mount borderlands mini image
run steam install Borderlands Granting Tool
copy iphlpapi.dll to Borderlands Granting Tool path Steam\SteamApps\common\BGT
run the granting tool
:) you are ready now

I've downloaded the steam api wrapper from brucie but what to do with the file? i've done what the readme says but i dont get any DLC's help plz

Do you have the DLC files? my guess is that you don't.

Where can I find the DLC's? All the downloads I found had a securerom setup file called DLCSetup in the folder.

the legit game has the DLCSetup folders too, i believe the DLC map files were securom protected in the older version so it may be best to ask someone to upload the new ones, or try getting them from a scene release with securom removed (or patched) or however they did it.

The 4 DLC pack is 5GB size which in no way i can upload with my 50KB/s net. But you can try obtain and install TRiViUM's BL GOTY release, cancel all the DLC activations, and drop the activated DLC files in which comes with that release. And move the DLC folder to Steam's BL and it loaded ingame.

UAC is already disabled. PC was every time restartet after installation or after removing. I also was Admin at installation...

DLC 3 and 4 patch is missing and rest of the files are identical to steam version, but why add if we will get the exact same from steam dl?

Just wanted to thank you guys for the method. I don't post here at all (long time lurker :p) but it seems that someone was smart enough to even mention this site in one of the comments on whosgamingnow :shock:
