Thank you very much Royal.  EDIT: Been reading and reading the topic, haven't found an answer yet. Co-op is not working for now, right? Game appears to still be trying to use GameSpy. I heard somewhere Steamworks co-op is gonna come later as a free update, and for now we are stuck with single player. Is that correct? And if it's indeed correct, is there a chance that this "update" will render the pirated DLCs inoperable? |

Yes, GameSpy isn't removed from the game yet, but will be in the next update. Also, it would be silly for the developers to mess with new protection measures for their pretty old game. Presence of the "clean" DLC maps is currently enough to unlock accessible DLC locations in fast travel stations. P.S. Just found my best MG yet  :

Loaded my old saves, game works fine except it says I don't have DLCs and can't use my guns. So I'm guessing old saves aren't supported. Will try to start a new game and see if I get the DLC. Using Royal's latest upload. EDIT: Ok, works. Didn't realize I had to Put DLC folder into WillowGame\CookedPC. EDIT2: Ok, doesn't work. Every time I travel to T-Bone, I crash with General Protection Fault. Do I need something other than just DLC files? You mentioned some update previously? I verified game cache, even redownloaded the game, posted DLC files properly... Still nothing. General Protection Fault crash when I try travelling to DLC locations. |

Hold on, I'll upload SFV checksum file of my working installation soon... Update: OK, here you go (checksums of my standalone steam version + "clean" maps + sam2k8's noSecuROM update/crack).

im getting general protection error everytime I try to open borderlands. I didn't interfere with game files, I tried oppening it with mini image on and off in dea. tool, removed everything, redowloaded again and still general protection happens. Any advice on that? EDIT: There was problem with physxcudart_20.dll file, installing prequises fixed it. |
