Each new card comes with new temp thresholds. I remember I had a 670M and it ran hot as hellfire on RE6 while 780Ms and above run the same game way cooler. So it's not really the game's fault. Nvidia focuses on the newer cards and eventually new drivers won't be compatible with old cards like they will with the new ones. When console devs make games, they make them for the newer systems and stop developing for the old ones. So you won't be able to get the same optimizations for old tech like you will with the new if the old tech isn't a powerhouse. If they did, there would be no purpose for new hardware. For gaming, contrary to popular belief, bulky lappies are better for gaming machines because they have better airflow. Thin lappies with intergrated parts are just terrible or will quickly become terrible. One can't expect a real portable laptop to be good at gaming. And it's gonna get even worse for the portable laptop users considering nvidia blocking overclocking for all laptops instead of just the thin ones. All this so called "next gen" thing is about consoles, not pc. What kind of "next gen game" is Resident Evil Revelations 2 with dx9-like graphics? There is a big difference between game developed for console and pc, and lazy port, am i right? ![]() Maybe for the content that wasn't added. But I can't say that for performance because I'm not getting the same issues that ppl say that they get performance wise. Ppl also seem to say they have the same issues for every steam game that comes out now but I never do. So that's why that conclusion was made. |

They all seem to suffer from stuttering, I can't remember the last game I played that did not have any. Change fps to 60 helped me still graphics is a downgrade compared to resident evil 5 and 6...how could this happen next-gen my ass... Currently playing raid mode maybe it will be better later so far boring and easy. Thanks, i'll try changing FPS to 60 and see if it helps. I found this site that has some fixes for other probs with the game as well. http://gamunation.com/error-fixes-for-r ... -problem/# That gamunation site is not good. |

As always the pc modding scene is making a patch for programmers' lazyness (or for their demented way of fighting piracy) http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread. ... t153646874 |

People always complain, whatever it is You have never experienced poorly optimized game? Like (for example) Dying Light, which was completely unoptimized at launch? This game was pretty unplayable on ANY pc (or laptop) on highest settings because of bugs, lags, errors... |

Unfortunately, I dont have that game so I couldnt tell ya. But I can tell you that Sleeping Dogs max AA is now playable (but still sucks at getting rid of jaggies) and everybody knows that that was some laggy stuff. FFXIII and the sequel are butter smooth for me now too. I was getting choppiness with my past hardware but with this new system nope. With this game, i dnt even have to overclock and everything is good frameratewise. Hopefully dx12 can bring this playabilty to everybody. |

When game has bugs and errors even nevest hardware can't help to get rid of it. That's it |

Probably. That's sounds reasonable. I do hope that it is a big one like they are saying though. And I hope we get benefits from it even when an app isn't dx12. If every game has to have dx12 built in to use, then we'll probably be SOL because devs wouldn't take enough time to actually provide that backend for already existing games. Edit: Can't get 4096x2304 with gedosato. Anybody have any ideas to solve? |
