Please help me... i am try play on joinToRemoteServer("195.154.169.187:28000") from 3 days and have problem... i play random 5m-1h and im get error: CS_STEAM_AUTH_REJECTED

im try 5x again download game, copy Streamworks Fix.rar from this topic, try reinstall steam, clean registry, restart pc, special free port 28000 (im dont have firewall/antywirus) and nothing helps... I still have CS_STEAM_AUTH_REJECTED after receiving the error, I have to wait about 15 minutes for no problem (CS_STEAM_AUTH_REJECTED) log in to the server :-|

C++, Net, Framework, DX11, Windows 7 Ultimate,

Try and edit the .ini file where it says cdkey= and remove the current key and randomly enter a different key then save. I have see this issue before. If that doesn't work you can try my method of installing the game into the steamapp/common folder under a fake new steam account, log onto steam in online mode and run the game from the .exe in the life is feudal folder while it is in the common folder. I have successfully gotten 10+ players to work this way with no issues..

I had the same issue as you, as well as a hand full of others. After installing with my method it even works for me now also.

Also make sure you use the download on this forum instead of some random torrent file elsewhere.

-- Edit --

Kortal I sent you a pm about your server crashing issue on how to fix it if you are still having problems :).

Don't put it on steamapp folder, put it in a separate folder.
Are you running the game from steam? Don't.
Open the unzipped folder and run yo_cm_client.exe as administrator.
Steam has to be running, but you don't need to use it for anything.
Then join the different pirate servers by typeing join or join1 and so on.

You don't speak english very well, what other languages do you speak? Maybe someone arround here can help you better in your native laguage.

I saw him playing in a server today, so I guess he solved it.

BTW, half the server are offline, did something happen? I thought the autorestart code in this thread worked...

Other servers have bad uptime but I play on joinToRemoteServer("107.189.32.201:28004") whenever it crashes it takes less than a minute to come back up. Its vanilla rates too so you can enjoy all that uptime too bad theres not alot of other players . . . You guys should join :D

So, after reading some posts about the FPS issues and modifying some files myself, I found that you can actually change the setting from the in-game console, which makes it a lot easier for people that doesn't like to change preferences files.

Here is how to improve your FPS on LiF:YO

Just copy and paste this commands ,one by one, and hit enter each time. (This are general fixes that work for everyone) My suggestion is to go one by one and see if your FPS are high enough, if they are not, keep copypasting more lines until you are satisfied.
From the console:

$pref::TS::detailAdjustForest = "0.1";
$pref::Shadows::disable = "1";
$pref::Shadows::filterMode = "None";
$pref::Shadows::textureScalar = "0";
$pref::Video::antiAliasing = "0";
$pref::Water::disableTrueReflections = "1";

$pref::windEffectRadius = "0";
$pref::Video::antiAliasing = "0";
$pref::TS::renderingDistanceBig = "200";
$pref::TS::renderingDistanceHuge = "200";
$pref::TS::renderingDistanceSmall = "200";
$pref::TS::grassRenderingDistance = "0"; <- This can be changed from the VIDEO menu, if you set it at 0 you can't see crops.

You may need to restart the game for all the changes to work.

If you want more detailed tweaking, you can go to your game folder > data > prefs.cs file and change everything as you see fits your machine.
(Remember making a copy of the original file in case you screw up)
(In fact, I attached my original file, just in case someone needs it)

You can ALSO change your Field Of View with this commands (They need a restart to work)
$Pref::player::CurrentFOV = 37.5; <- Put here the FOV you like, remember more FOV, more angle of view, but also more distorsion. Try a few!
$Pref::player::DefaultFOV = 75;
