Am I the only one who runs into this? Cheers, S. why do you assume that there is a problem? Maybe saves just aren't compatible... it is a different game not an upgrade pack |

I'll have to take a look at what's going on with that at some point. probably the anti-aliasing setting, which enables ssaa. btw, i kinda feel like the game isn't running at native 1080p... it looks upscaled. edit: i think it acutally was. although it was showing 1080p in the display settings, it wouldn't really use it until i changed it to something else and then back Some people have reported the game looking worse than the original. Might be a bug in the settings not recognizing this as 1080p. |

Quote: Now I know that a fair few PC gamers are asking what the difference between the Definitive Edition and the original game with an HD textures pack is - here's your answer: we've redone a lot more than just the textures. We've also reworked character faces, added particle and ambient effects such as volumetric fog. Furthermore, the draw distances have been substantially improved and the gameplay has seen a lot of tweaking. Things that might have been too easy or difficult have been rejigged. Additional breakable enviroment objects have also been introduced so you can have more fun tossing enemy thugs around. On top of all these technical improvements, you've also got the added bonus of almost all previously released DLC packs - that includes outfits, cars and extra story-extending content that amounts to over three hours of additional story gameplay. I found the legendary outfit vendor near the first apartment, but he doesn't have all the outfits. If i'm not mistaken DLCs unlock after you get your first apartment, it's been a while but it was pretty much like this.like konstantinxy said, the DLC outfits are available at the Legendary Outift Vedor(which appears after you get to the first appartment) but not all the outfits\gear is there. maybe more unlock futher in the game? Just played a bit more, and unlocked the Super SWAT outfit after doing a cop mission. So I assume the other outfits that aren't at the vendor are unlocked with side missions. |

Damn. Do you know of the latest game that uses x64 bit that Ali213 had a crack for? Also, perceptions: -Background popups still knock the game out of fullscreen. -When 3D vision is on and 3D is activated, getting knocked out of fullscreen with a background popup messes up 3D vision. Turning 3D off and back on in the menu doesn't work anymore. 3Dvision light comes back on, but there will be no 3D effect. -Still can't toggle convergeance with the nvidia 3D hotkeys. -3D settings need to be removed from the menu. You can't see what each leve is easily without pausing and unpausing constantly. All 3D options should be controlled through Nvidia's hotkeys ONLY. -Shadows in the benchmark are glitchy. Benchmark is part of the real game so I'm sure those issues still exist in the main game at those points. -The benchmark gets bugged out when it reaches the end when you are going down the stairs. Wei can be seen glitching across the screen at this time. -Where are the 2 girls that use to talk trash to each other outside of the apartment? -AA settings are still useless. Not a single one of them completely gets rid of jaggies. -Each AA setting is more hard on the hardware than the previous version even with density on semi max. Max AA lags the game way more than the original release. Medium AA is only usuable when you put gpu boost max gpu temps at 94c. -When running after the guy at the beginning, near the end of the chase, Wei is outlined with a white outline. -No borderless fullscreen setting. -While fighting, if a prompt comes up and you move the mouse instead of the gamepad, the gamepad buttons will still be there instead of the mouse. If you were using the keyboard and switch to the controller, the keyboard buttons will still be there instead of switching to the gamepad buttons. It fixes itself after the prompts go away and come to the next prompt. But it should be able to switch one the fly without the prompts having to disappear first. |
