hey guys, am I the only one who's game just freezes at one moment and it just stays like that, I can only alt-tab out of the game, maybe its my drivers, but I just want to check, it doesn't happen in other games though :?

The game plays fine with Codex crack files (just kept the original "binkw64.dll" as backup,you never know..). This game is like AC 3 with some effects from newer engine used for Black flag,however it's visually worse from B Flag, sure seems optimized enough but the great performance is due to lack of visual quality...
Shadow and lod distance (plus the static objects distance,for example rocks,bushes,some flowers/grass etc) are significantly reduced!, didn't expect that from their newest game. Actually seems like a game that was developed before Unity. Though I have to say that I am enjoying it more than Unity (same as I did with Black Flag) and the snowy sea stuff/island areas are nice newcomers for joy. Maybe the reduced visual quality is due to being another console port (and most importantly being a release for PS3/Xbox360 = older generation shit)..it's weird,especially the short shadow/objects distance. Also it's kinda bad that as kareim already said to sneak in bushes and to not have any animation when you move in them.
Maybe they will be able to bring better quality with future patches,who knows. (Anyone knows if objects and shadow distance are hardcoded?meaning can't be tweaked..?).

Kinda disappointed that there's no MSAA. I mean, AC Liberation had it, and it was a Vita port for crying out loud :ROFL:

You said it "Hades77", the game does look degraded from Black Flag and it does not look like Black Flag graphicaly to me too, I thought there was something wrong when moving through the bushes, didn't realize that the animations of the bushes were absent until you pointed it out, and also what about the highest AA value, I am able to see only FXAA?

Yeap,only Fxaa...and it's a dx11 game,no way to force/enhance something better,however downsampling (or DSR for Nvidia as an alternative) is an option to make it a lot better. At least @1600p starts to feel that aliasing is almost gone.

Its soooo bad to return to play at 60hz.... amost game breaking when you have a 144hz.

You can try going to Documents/Assassin's Creed Rogue, and change the config file inside. Your resolution will probably appear as "undefined" in the game, but it shouldn't probably matter.

For AMD unfortunelly Gedosato dosent work. FXAA is that ugly thats not an option. Gonna try smaa.

Anybody try to use cheat engine yet. I tried to give my self some extra cash ::D but the value keeps going back to the original. So anybody got any ideas.

Create a custom resoltuion in the AMD control panel and use it in-game.
