ShadowDuke wrote: For What? This game is already too easy (on normal mode!). Even easier than FFXIII. Exactly. First you can grind level without any restrictions in ffxiii you had a limit per chapter i like new system more. Except that i grind becouse i want specific monster(for role) well 3-4 hours and still no behemoth and 12 levels up lol... Klipal wrote: Unplayable stuttering... dunno how you play... and its way too blurry except in 4k, wtf happend. Got a gtx980 and the game is so badly playable... Ouch...well i understand why your mad im playing on laptop so some lag is undestandable but in your case i would throw my gtx980 into wall. But seriously game is using 30-40% of my quadcore and it's only 2.4Ghz and gpu about 50-60% that's why it laggs... Optimization is most important without this even most powerfull hardware will not give you smooth gameplay. Question is anyone gtting the 60 fps like they said game would have? < this i remember it was in advertisment that game runs 60 fps or i might be wrong...

Maybe you can do something with antialiasing (like set to better one) using GeDoSaTo tool. They have added the game profile recently. |

Awesome thanks when i find time i will play with it. >>>>> Awesome find <<<<< During my searching though google i found this site http://www.hialgo.com/main.html It's usefull to prove that Final Fantasy Xiii-2 is unoptimized. What i did? 1.Download HiAlgo Switch and install. 2.Run it then run ffxiii2 and click yes to inject 3.In game press middle mouse button to decrese resolution by 50%(for laptop users for example). 4.Fun part is i did not gain any significant increase in fps in 640x310 resolution it's a ******* JOKE. What i want to say increase all settings max you will lag anyway if you do so why lower settings? Edit: I did cheak my cpu it's 30-40% usage and gpu was using 60-70% in 1280x720(yes i play in windowed mode). |

The problem is i still can't get 60 fps even in 640x360 resolution. Also this app only works on directx 9 games. Edit: Forgot to post this "I know it's unplayable in 640x360 becouse most things would be unreadable i just did it too cheak if it can run smooth answear is NO" Edit2: OK i give up did try anything nothing works playing with 20-40 fps is a joke... |

The problem is, you can try what you want, even with the most decent hardware its running like shit. Its just the bad engine. And i doubt SE is gonna do anything about it. As you can already see in there recent patch for 13-1 that was/is a rip-off from durantes work (gedosato). No change in or from engine whatsoever. |

loladass wrote: how the hell you guys are stuttering in FFXIII-2 when i play in a laptop with a Radeon HD 7670M and an I5 2.50GHz and dont have problems. Because you need glasses, or else you play at a very terrible framerate that you dont even see the stuttering. I got a i5 2500k at 4,5ghz + a gtx980, even at minimal settings its the same, the framerate moves and drops even on the loading page, wtf I've never seen that. Surender dudes, ive already tried everything, the "fixes" are just noobs posting bullshits. You can still limit your framerate to 30 but seriously it will still be bad. We need a fucking miracle patch, or a genius work from gedosato. |

The stronger your GPU, the worse the performance will be, I tested it with some friends and it turned out true. With my GTX560Ti on final fantasy XIII I get always 60 fps on map and 30 in battle, while on XIII-2 I get always 30 fps sith some stuttering when there are too many effects in battle (aka multiple spell used at the same time). Unfortunately a friend of mine which as the same pc I have (we assembled it together, only difference is GPU wise) has a 570, and it can't reach constat 30 fps in any way, for him it always runs at 22-28 fps at best. Last but not least another friend of mine has a 980 and it run even worse, fps range is about 15-22. It's speculated that the more powerful the gpu is, the lesser are the chances the game will use the GPU resources. A really bad optimized port, obviously. |

560ti, 570, its almost the same, don't make me laugh, the game runs terrible in every computer. The problem is not the fps (who plays yoyo for nothing just to piss the players off), its this fucking bullshit stuttering even locked at 30 fps, even with a monster ssd samsung 840 pro with a gtx980 1400mhz. Fuck this game and fuck square. |
