The game runs so fucking bad. Unplayable at 4k on a gtx980. I cant even maintain 60fps in 1080p ! I consider the game unplayable. |

Final Fantasy XIII sucked so damn hard, it's no real FF. It's walking from cutscene to cutscene, "playing" some semi-interactive animation movie. The RPG elements, battles etc. are minimalist and have just nothing to do with any real FF. So why should XIII-2 any better? Just another semi-playable animation movie. This is no game, it's a total mess. Graphics is not everything. |

You gotta be kidding, have you ever played FFX in the first place (and not just the beginning, the whole game)? Granted, it lacks the open world walking map but this doesn't mean that there is no exploration. On top of that ffx HAS a real gameplay in the battle, they just replaced the ATB bar system with the CTB (which I actually prefer). You can say that it's not the best game in the saga, but it's nowhere near the crap XIII trilogy achieved. What I'm really curious to know is if the japanese audience really liked XIII at all (considering that they gone so far to make 3 games ._.). |

@Gurlok word! FFX was way more than FFXIII (incl. FXIII-2) is now. I was shocked after playing some hours and really just walked from cutscene to cutscene and later read, that it will stay like that the whole game... this is a pile of shit with nice graphics, nothing else. If I want to see FF in movie, I watch The Spirits Within or Dirge Of Cerberus. Good that I haven't paid a single cent for this junk. I would rage out, paying 40 bucks and get such a crappy ultra-lite-FF game. Start playing FF3/6, FF7, FF8 and FF9, those are 100% FF. FF12 was flatten as well, but it still was fun, the battlesystem was new and not bad, I liked it, backtracking/finding secrets was fun etc., even without any full 3D world map. You could walk more freely than in FF10 and I played through FF10 sereval times... it was not bad, but not as good as FF6-9 was. |

The poor PC optimization goes against sales, I haven't tried yet ffxiii-2 ON PC, but if the performance is the same as it's predecessor I don't have high hopes for the franchise to come for the pc; sigh, I will never see the day in which the whole FF saga will be avaiable on PC... |

People that reviewed the game on Steam seem pretty satisfied. Praising the graphics, saying they get 30-60 fps. Pretty contradictory with what I read here. Anyway, I'm downloading it now, so... will see. |

port wise, this game is pretty much more of the same as FF13.. but gameplay wise, this game beats FF13 any day.. its not linear, you can explore and come back to every location whenever you like. way better monster and boss designs, boss battles are epic and have QTE's like in Naruto Storm 3. you can "capture" monsters and have them fight with you as a third member, you can even develop them and level up as well. music is great, more energetic like rock and less orchestra music.. multiple endings depending how you play the game.. the main villain of the game is actually interesting and not some generic bad guy. so overall its a much much better game than FF13. |

Wich files contain the subs? The 3DM release doesn't have the french ones. Could somebody upload them if it's not too heavy? Performances are worse than FF 13-1 even with minimum settings and nvidia tweaks. |

I agree. FFX with its combat system is amazing. This ffxiii/-2 call of duty style combat is utterly unattractive to me, but yeah will finish the game , just to feel the story , then delete it, as its simply not game i would mark as "legendary game" unlike ffx |

Final Fantasy is nothing more than a dead body wandering around now, is just a name. The series evolved in such a bad way that is no more recognizable, Square Enix should be ashamed, they ruined this franchise long time ago and there's no turning back now. |
