I think unless mods forbid discussing specs, this thread will turn into a 200 page technical support thread.

Otherwise it will stutter when you are flying low or driving a fast car.

Are you sure the HDD cause stutters and its fixed on a SSD ?? I am VERY dubitative on this.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure of it. When the RAM and VRAM is full the game will start dumping/loading textures from HDD which will cause stuttering.
Tried it on 2 computers:

i5-2500K/4GB RAM (second ram plank damaged ;/)/GTX 660Ti 2GB/7200rpm HDD and the bottleneck was the HDD I/O. When you are flying a jet or driving a car on highway, HDD write/read goes crazy (14MB/S). Disabling AV scanner, torrent and steam downloads (those damn Dota2/CS:GO/Payday2 almost daily updates) somewhat helped but i was still getting ~15 fps when moving fast through the map.

On i7-3770/8GB RAM/GTX 980/SSD - 60 fps all the time, but when moving fast through the map it will fill up 4GB VRAM and will use up to 4500 MB RAM due to a lot of textures loading. SSD I/O is at minimum there (3MB/S)

If you were right, then SSD should have bigger R/W speeds, not lower. That would mean the game needs it then.

Also comparing i5/4GB/660Ti to i7/8GB/980 yeah...

On i7 it doesn't use SSD because it has enough RAM, it doesn't need to utilize pagefile. When your computer runs out of RAM it will a)start using HDD (pagefile) as RAM b)CTD if the pagefile is not enabled. The original question was will GTA V will run fine @1080p with 4GB RAM so I shared my experience.

Don't get me wrong, on i5/4GB/660 Ti it runs ok-ish when you are running on foot or just driving around the city. The stuttering appeares only when I was flying a jet very low/driving a very fast car.

What the hell are you talking about? There are no mods yet, check back in some months... GTA V File Formats haven't even been reverse-engineered yet.

You can track this site but you must wait until they create version for PC. Shitbox version was first sadly.

I use this for MaxPayne 3 localization and ofcourse for modding.
