Ok if i had Noton System Works 2005 and if I had Norton Firewall 2005 will that be enough? Do I still need to get Norton Antivirus 2005 as well? also if possible could someone tell me where i could download these full softwares ? they must work ofcourse no dead links etc ...

not a trial but there so stupid that the set their own licensed copies on there own serverno serial needed

i think that the bast free AV is avast...I use the profesional version...but the free one is very good...its better than norton...but I have no idea if its better or worse that mcafee

look on serial sites to get the professional....

none of the firewalls can protect you against hackers or whatsoever.. you can only have best protection by blocking ports ;)
and having just antivirus. I don't have both becuz they slow down ur system. :twisted:

I have ZoneAlarm and Avast (and a linux router).
Avast is a great free antivirus and i recommend it to everyone without one. Zonealarm might make cs lag but a couple of versions doesn't.
BTW maddox a firewall does block ports. That's pretty much the only thing it does.

Of course it does. It doesn't allow anything to enter your computer unless a internal service has requested it (If it's stateful)
You can easily check that by entering https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2.

And the best firewall is a nat router or something like that

Huh ? :roll: What are u talking about ? :roll: . Norton System Works 2005 already includes Norton AntiVirus 2005 ! (or maybe I'm wrong ? :? ). Btw this is :offtopic:
