For all gamers: What is the game that really got you into gaming?

I'm not talking about your favourite game, but the game that first made you become a fan of computer/console gaming.

Mine are: Doom by id Software


And the good ol' Commander Keen series


I've been playing those since I was about 5 years old . But the game that got me into First Person Shooters was Perfect Dark for N64.

When I was first introduced to gaming on the PC it was my dad who played, I didn't know English so I couldn't play.

hehe me 2 when i was 6 years old i was playing those good old gamez with a 166mhz with doom in a floppy diskette

(like doom got 3 part ) so i have 3 diskette named DOOM 1 part 1/3 etc... awwww

I think my very first games when I was about 3 were a couple called "school mom" and "kids paintbox" or something like that.
But the games that really got me going were Descent 1 which Dad played then I started playing when I was about 7, and Goldeneye on N64.
