And whats the point of having DDR2800 if the Conroe FSB is 1066 and i'm dual chanelling DDR2667?

Later after the purchase I've upgraded some parts like the memory and graphics card. Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2400+ @ 2,0 GHz Mainboard: MSI K7N2 Delta-L nForce2 Ultra 400 Memory: Buffalo 1024MB (1GB) DDR 400 MHz PC-3200 Graphics Card: ASUS V9999GE (GeForce 6800) 256MB AGP8X Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit Hard Drive: Seagate 80GB IDE ATA100 7200RPM Power Supply: 300 W CD Drive: MSI CD-RW 52x24x52 DVD Drive: LG 16x (read-only) Monitor: Acer AL1914 19" LCD 12ms Sound System: Logitech Z-3 2.1 40 W RMS Headphones: Sennheiser HD 555 Keyboard: Logitech Cordless Internet Pro Desktop Black Mouse: Logitech MX518 My system is almost 3,5 years old (bought at 8.8.2003). The processor, mainboard, case, hard drive, power supply, CD-RW drive, DVD drive and the floppy disk (3,5") drive are from the PC purchase date (never upgraded). Currently I'm playing only CS:S. My system needs an big upgrade badly. On the most intensive moments (a lot of models on the screen at the same time) in CS:S, the frame rate can sometimes go below 20 fps. Usually I have about 40-50 fps while playing. I'm leaving to the army for the next 6 months at next Monday (8.1.2007). Perhaps I will get a new rig after that period. P.S: Damn CTracker! I had to write the whole shit again when I tried to submit my post at the first time. Damn it!
