I discovered RIN after Pacman's forum and Pacsteam. I used his repacks when I registered here. That was back in 2007 when I googled "crack steam" and that his repacks (paccafe...) flooded the web. Thanks to him and his disciples, I found afterwards the true light of illuminati 666 gods here on RIN. Now, I'm feeling old

Ah, valvecafepc accounts. I don't remember who was it that obtained them or how, but at some point in time, everyone suddenly had their own "Steam game downloader" app to launch Steam.exe with the login parameter as an ultra-basic way to hide passwords (which weren't changeable for café accounts anyway). Pacman had PacCafe and SteamCafe, and FreeSteam posted a series of launchers, which I have unfortunately lost due to a virus attack. "No cafe stuff" was a strict rule here on RIN, although exceptions were made for an app battledead posted, and Fenny's certificate, which was due to expire the following day but actually lasted a few more. Speaking of which, during that one time in December 2006 when Valve's authentication servers ceased to work, I managed to "register" a master key generated via KeySteam. Sadly, I didn't take a screenshot of the activation window asking me which of all the available games I wanted to start downloading

Who could forget the cafe fiasco.. I still have some axx in a txt file it seems (obviously useless by now) and an app called Cafe Account Spooler.. Other stuff I've deleted sadly. But yeah, it was a big no no here.. I think I just used them a couple of times as an easy way to update a few games.. Man, I'm so pissed off I've deleted so much Steam related files at some point when I do in fact keep a lot of files, just for sake of memories.. WHY PAST ME? WHY?! Misanthropy wrote: "16 Jan 2009"
