Here are alternative game where it is the fall:

Dragon Age Origins
Assassins Creed 2
Lost Planet
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2

the asynchronicity comes but really only in cutscene
a friend said that is simply because as the game was programmed
But some have no problem with asynchronous play in the

here are data on my computer

Win7 Ultimate 64bit
Asus P7P55D Intel i5 2,7ghz
4GB Ram
DirectX 11
Geforce GTS 250 + Geforce 9600 GT
onboar sound : VIA High Definition Audio
soundkarte: Creative Soundblaster vx 5.1
Monitor: LG W2261 VP

Audio and video drivers are installed the latest.
In cutscenes the sound is lagging behind the video. But if it is spoken (Narrator), it fits together with the situation, in video

Your drivers might be up to date, but what about codecs? If you don't know exactly what codecs to install (like me) then just download BS Player Pro (not the free one) and install it, during the install it asks if you want to download certain codecs, download them all and you should be good to go. This method has worked for me, hope it helps you too

Depends if the cutscenes are in game or they use prerendered videos. Codecs only help if the cutscenes are prerenderd and also, to my knowledge, games like mass effect don't require codecs in order to run as they have their own video format and their own codecs.

Hm, yeah, I didn't think about that. Well, at least he'll get proper codecs if he doesn't have them already

That's because codecs have nothing to do with games man. Stop losing your time with codecs, it will not help.
First I have a question for you. Why do you use the Geforce 9600 GT in conjunction with the GTS 250?
Are you using the 9600 as a physx dedicated videocard? If not then i suggest that you remove it from your pc and try running the games that suffer from sound delay on the gts250 only.
As a side note, even though games like mass effect should not give you that problem because of those gpu's you should definitely consider upgrading your video card if you can afford it. The gts 250 is a horrible card for gaming and the 9600 gt is also a horrible gaming card that should not even be close to a gaming pc these days.
Try removing the 9600 gt and run the games and post your results.
If it doesn't help I still have some suggestions for you.

EXCUSE ME??? What the hell? Why are you using your better graphics card for physx?
STOP THAT. Do not use your better graphics card for physx and your worse card for graphics rendering, it's complete and utter nonsense.
Why on earth are you doing such a thing? Any specific reasons why are you doing this?
Gts250 should be your main graphics card and your 9600 gt should handle the physx not vice versa.
You are wasting your better video card just for physx? Didn't you know that today's physx effects can be computed very well even with a 8800? I think I just found out your problem. You are playing mass effect on a 9600 gt when you have a gts 250, that's such a noob move man

I have now GT9600 card in there as Phsyx.
So now it was because I had mixed up the two?

I don't know if it was because of that, but the fact that you did was very very bad for your gaming performance.
The gts250 even if it's not such a good gaming card, it's definitely much better for games than the other one.
Never use that card as anything else other than for rendering graphics. Make sure that your gts250 is used as your primary card and make sure that you have the latest driver installed for it. Your games should run faster now, and I also believe the sound problems will be less noticeable or maybe even disappear completely. Using the 9600 for today's games will result in stuttering, general lag of the video that causes the audio in cutscene to play faster than the animations.
If the cutscenes are rendered inside the game in real time and your video card is too slow, in some games like mass effect, the audio plays normal while the graphics play slower which causes the animations to desync with the animations.

So while the games run smoothly but are not yet synchronized.
I have the onboard sound card straight with the Creative exchanged views but was still asynchronous. could it even be due to the sound card?

Edit: problem solved. Bios was not up to date and now it is

Edit2: ok its asynchronous again -.-

Edit 3: i have now a Zotac Geforce 470 and its still asynchronous so it can not be due to the graphic card.

I think its a speakers problems. or Drivers problems. First of all remove your current driver and reinstall your sound driver and check that driver is windows 7 compatible or not if not then download windows 7 compatible or update your current driver. and if you face same problem then check your speaker cable is ok,and if cable is ok then check your speaker

This topic is old, I doubt he even cares anymore after so many months so you shouldn't have bumped this.
