I want to have a batch file which triggers the setup.exe of Visual Studio 2010, and then starts installing java. Because they cant be installed simultanuously.
Is there a way to have these things installed when away? Without having to use RTSevenLite ?

Yes, Java can be installed per MSI, meaning without user interaction. ( I wouldn't recommend that though, if you want to have the browser plugin installed, you need to create a MSI transform )
Visual Studio can be installed quietly - without interaction - as well, also per MSI which comes with VS.
