These links have been posted at least a couple of times ever since I became active here. The 2004 RIN running on phpBB 1.0 is a mandatory visit. :D

Sadly, I can't visit my newcomer self, because the Wayback Machine servers were blocked by CTracker at the time...

Hahaha, this is great, I forgot how those "signature bars" used to be the shit back then (or at least I thought they were at that time).

But to be honest, I actually feel like a newcomer here, compared to some of you guys.
Anyway, here's to many more joyous years on CS.RIN.RU! The community wouldn't be the same without you!

I had the official Steam-BUSTER Revolution bar in my sig for a long while, and I'm not forgetting that. ::)

Is BolleOne still around hes cool !

a lot of newer people probably dont know the long history of the english forum here..

like i was looking at some threads for PPCpatcher and a Steam Crasher
good old days when Valve had no protection and a patched client let you play online lol

Before Steam was released publicly i sold Counter-Strike 1.6 + sSteam on ebay LOL
After a month or so valve went public i think cause they noticed the HUGE amount of Koreans
that were playing cs online.. at that time i could join any server here in the west coast canada
and everyone was speaking korean LOL ..anyway i made a few bucks on ebay ahahha
I also broke into the 500 person private internal beta of Steam and registered at the steam
forums before they went public too
It was easy i found the installer on a torrent and created an account..
back then Steam was a limited invite only 500 people maximum private beta
jeez im startimg to feel old writing this lol

BolleOne was banned some years ago, if I remember correctly.

I remember ppcpatcher, it was one of the many things I tried to crack Steam, before I registered on this forum; which by the way I lurked for a long while before I began posting. It's probably still somewhere in my hard drives, just like 99% of the things I download.

You know what impresses me is the forum hosting here !

these people have allowed us ALL to come and post here for sooooo long
i have to take this opportunity to say thank you to who ever is footing the hosting bill
and letting us all NON Russian people come and hang out here for so long

Yep. We went through a lot with this webserver here (and its predecessors). Lots and lots of downtimes, errors, timeouts. But in the long run, this forum just stays online.
If this ever changed, I'd do everything I can to bring it back.

And .cue, nice to see you posting. How has life been without Steam cracking? ::D

I remember the constant SQL errors, those were pretty annoying.
