Hello, i hope that i am not breaking any rules ( have read them and didn't see anything wrong) but i have a problem. I am lost and don't really know where to look for help, really.

Recently i have (I know, i'm dumb!) fallen into downloading this mod for a game from a youtube video. It didn't work, of course, and it activated some installer which says this when it launches ( and it launches everytime i open my computer)

When i use ctrl+alt+del and look at my processes i can see that it opens up some unknown shit and 2 instances of svchost?
( i think also something claled wmpnetvk.exe and their description is empty)Now, it is very obvious that it is a password/account stealer for the game i downloaded it for.However it could be a keylogger , spyware, virus or even a trojan. I dunno.

Anyway, i was wondering how i could get rid of this thing, thanks in advance.

(And again, i know i did a dumb thing by downoading + launching it )

Note: I am only using AVG Internet Security 2011

What I'd recommend: restart in safe mode and run a full virus scan. You might want to use more than one tool to be completely sure. I've heard good things about MalwareBytes.

Autoruns, Rootkit Unhooker and APT will be excellent programs to help you detect and delete the trojan, if you know how to interpret the data they give you.

I know that program well its a KeyLogger
and pwn'd my ex girlfriends ass with that shit hard LOL
Dumb bitch wanted to sneak around flirting with other guys n shit on facebook
so i threw a keylogger on my rig and waited for the rat to eat the cheese

Shoulda seen the look on this bitches face when i read back everything she said on every site LOLOL
And as a bonus i could see every keystroke including google searches and login passwords etc

Anyway if it is Steeler.exe its easy to get rid off.. find it and delete it

Maybe look at some of the tools at nirsoft to see whats in your startup
they got a bunch of free simple tools to help

There is also online virus scanning services too
if you dont have an AV installed such as http://www.virustotal.com

Must be a real dumb bitch to cheat on our .cue, but really, isn't that the best way to get to a friend's account? No guessing, no bruteforcing, just put a keylogger on a machine they are going to use

That's correct. It'll give you the full path to a running executable (not a marvellous feature, every task manager can do that, but still) and a dozen ways to terminate it, including kernel kills and whatnot. It's a pretty nice tool to have in your arsenal.
