Hey sup guys! ... havin a prob here. Since week i try to install a Dual steam ( Different location ) I wonder if someone have found somethin bout this thing. Like changing the registry path, and isolating one from the other (Without reparaing himself into the Registry) ... I got 2 steam installed ... need to isolate one from the other one. Been searching for a week and ... still found no clues about this thing. But im sure someone have done it b4. Cheer's

Do you want to run two accounts at once? Or just isolate one from the other? Sandboxie can do both. Trial version allows one sandbox; so you have your main Steam installation and a second one. With paid version you can have unlimited Steam instances. Quote: 1.Download and install Sandboxie. 2.Delete the default sandbox and create a new one. Name it as you wish. 3.Right-click the sandbox and go to settings. -Restrictions->Drop rights->Drop rights from Administrators and Power User groups must be unchecked. -Resource Access->File Access->Full Access and add Steam folder. 4.Right-click on your sandbox and Run Sandboxed->Run Windows Explorer and navigate to Steam and log on to your alt. You can also have all Steam installations share the same steamapps folder to save space. But this can be a problem when updating games. Quote: 1.Open cmd.exe as an administrator. 2.Navigate into each Steam folder without steamapps and run the following: mklink /D steamapps <main steamapps path> For example: cd C:\Idle\Steam1 mklink /D steamapps "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps" 3.A shortcut should appear, named steamapps. Double-clicking it should show you the contents of the main steamapps folder. (Source) |

 Wow, that was quick Thx ethaNoL, its exactly what i was searching for, but no its not for runnning 2 steam at once its more to prevent getting the real one confused with the HOT one. Looks like i got a lot of wirk in front of me  Like u said updates gonna be painfull Thx bro !!! |

shtrikem If your trying to keep Cracked Steam and legit Steam apart, then don't use your Steam crack on your legit account. |
