Why would this attack be illeal? Steam itself is illegal, so they can't say anything. VU Games would be happy about it.

The problem with sending there web server a virus is that it has to be under one mb becuse the firewall is set to allow no incoming packets greater then 1 mb thats why i told you guys to send a packet that is 8192 bytes because that is 1 mb exactly. Every virus i have every made has never been under 10mb and same with everyone i know. To make one that small it would have to be in binary code and it would do almost nothing at all like maybe log out the server but not even that is definitly possible with a virus.

So in my opinion we couldn't do a virus t osend them.

I wasn't talking about sending a virus directly to Valve but more to computers around the world so that we could get enough firepower to kill them out.

Attacking a protected system is something I wouldn't want ot get into. But, most home computers these days are just waiting to get viruses.

ur a nubb, 1024 bytes = 1 kilobyte, 1024 kilobytes = 1 megabyte, so therefore 1048576 bytes = 1 megabyte, and ping can only send 65500 bytes which is roughly 64 kilobytes
