I know that you guys are sick of aswer for noobs question!
But plz help me with this 2 errors:
1º error:
- When i launch CS:S and open a server to play onlinne, appears this "Steam validation rejected"
2ºerror:
-After I open Steam, it begins to update! Then in the 100% appears this error box saying:
-SteamStartup(0xf,0x12e218) failed with error 108: The local Steam Server is not Running
I have the 7 and 8 update i tried to deleted or rename the steam.dll in the CS folder even in the steam folder. I put all the comand lines in the shortcuts!! SteamApp is double check and i dont know wts da problem!

Ok everything works nopw except this:
This server is using a newer protocol than yours ( 7 )
In the first post it says:
This server is using a newer protocol
- you have old version, update it!
But what do i have to update? Steam? CS:S?
And where do i find these updates?

Oh fuck, i just installed update 8, thinking that 7 wasn't needed, and know i keep getting thousands of errors, how do i reverese this so that i can install update 7 first and then 8?

The admin should lock this topic.
Now theres Steam-Down, Its a steam with everything in it and no CD-KEY.
And ots updating automaticly!

what the fuck for? LOL  not everyone wants to d/l the gcf's.....and this method will always work if steam-down gets blocked by steam....plz dont post such stupid things  _________________ **TIRED OF ALL THE SPAM** I am 73% addicted to Counterstrike. What about you?

how can u not know steam updated yesterday? u have to wait for patch #9, dont know when it will be released...or use steam-down or ppatcher to d/l all the gcf's and then u can play from steam games list....search for these topics if u wish
