I tried both the new emulator and the 141007 one
and when i use it, i try on many mods
a mod call "MSC", it can't read the char menu when i use emulator
And i tried to use amx on dod, but it will make client can't select any thing...(sometimes)
I will test new emulator these days... :wink:

Don't forget to use logging if you see any bug. Also startng the game with "-condebug" switch helps, so you can send me the console.log from your mod directory.

open rev.emu, set "Logging" to "True" and set FileSystem, Account and UserID to True. Then send me REVOLUTiON.log

Okay, here is something new. I have uploaded a SteamEmu addon which should enable you to combine functionalities of SteamEmu and RevEmu. You will have all playing capabilities of SteamEmu (GCF mounting, etc, etc) combined with server hosting usability of RevEmu (so you can actually host a REV-patched server while using GCFs).

Downloading, installing, and other details can be found in the first post.

NOTE that I haven't tested this, so I would have a high appreciation for your feedback. :D

Did I get this right: I don't need any cracks or engine patches with your new emulator?

Does this emulator include the "SteamBeta" bug fix? And does it fix the cd key auth error, the "steam validation rejected" and "steam must be running" messages?

It doesn't fix any client-side error, so if you wanna play tf2 or gmod, you still need to use VUP. If you wanna host a server, you don't need any additional crack/patch

But your new emu replaces all steam_api.dll and steamclient.dll fixes (which were needed to crack team fotress 2)?

edit: Okay, tried it myself: No, it doesn't include the Team Fortress 2 fix...

Uploaded rev-emu addon v2

Changelog:
[FIX] Clients using rev-emu addon are now successfully identified by the rev-patched server.

-> First post.

*EDIT*

An update for rev-emu has been released.
Changelog [11.02.]
[*] Fixed srcds.exe \ hlds.exe crashing when started with -console parameter while Logging was enabled.
[*] Fixed source dedicated server not appearing in master server list

When I use the SteamEmu Addon (V2) I can start the games but when I try to start GMOD10 I get the CD Key Error can you fix it??? A other problem is the ServerBrowser problem with all Source games.

Mhh Yes I use - steam look there that is my parameter -game garrysmod -steam -appid 4000
