steam has a new update for team fortress 2. so you've got to download the update from the stickies here in the content sharing section..

only for files that you can't download over cracked steam.

you probably did what i did....

dont just copy paste...make sure the URL has ONLY the URL and the port has ONLY the port....if you copy paste in it wont work as youll copy both URL and port into the URL slot.

"Unable to retrieve the Content Description Record"...

How do I fix this?, the program just crashes after it says this 3 times. Is there any other files needed?

Nope this means CFToolbox can't connect to the steam servers and download the CDR. Do you have any firewall or peerguardian and do you have just the URL in the URL box and the Port in the port box?

Thanks for CFTool.
I have 1 question.
I accidentally manually updated a team fortress 2 content v22 with a team fortress 2 content.26_to_27.update.gcf

It was successful update to v27; but it is only 91.08% completed.
But now, I can't manually update it anymore with any of the manual gcf files below.

team fortress 2 content.22_to_23.update.7z
team fortress 2 content.23_to_24.update.7z
team fortress 2 content.24_to_25.update.zip
team fortress 2 content.25_to_26.update.7z

How do I undo the step? Pls help.

@brakepad2
This is a example why you do not post, more than once for the same thing.
