a simple static temporary array size increment from 200 to 2000, used by an ugly algorithm for finding depots related to an app.
one app seems to have 205 depots ...

for dynamic allocation, there's TINcft... and would encourage people using it asap (but less user friendly...)

*(a+204) = randomchar;

and boom ofc !

Can someone help me now on another matter?
All of my ncf files have been converted to acf files.
e.g. the ncf file that was linking to the braid folder, has been renamed to appmanifest_26810.acf

How can I have the ncf files back so CFT can see them egain?

cft can't work with acf, u need to use tincft for that ;)
tin cft also support gcf and ncf but the updates format is different from the cft ones. for the better of course !

Forgive me if im misunderstood but im trying to download gcf's with my legit account and it does nothing just sits there any ideas what im doing wrong?

Did you disable Steam Guard?

Indeed steam guard is disabled is that the problem?

When trying to resume a legit game through cftoolbox a window pops up asking for username etc I insert and nothing happens.

Thanks for keeping this updated steamCooker :)

I have been having a problem using the patch system with garrysmod.gcf. For the last few garrysmod updates if i make and apply a patch CFToolbox will just spam the console and go into a loop. Here is the message i recieve:

I thought this might fix itself in later updates but it still the same and is impossible to update the GCF using the patch system. The only way is to either download through CFToolbox or download the whole GCF file and replace it.

steamCooker, why was it necessary to make totally different program (TinCft), when just can simply upgrade / do the standalone branch of the CFToolbox? CFT has much more user-friendly interface, than TinCft.

For me it doesn't work too, it can't update any GCF which I owned, and this problem appeared about a year ago.
Trying to update day of defeat source.gcf (SteamGuard was turned off), CFT 1.1.2 makes two BIN-files:
1357678807046_Unknown message type(#0).bin
1357678807326_EMsgClientUpdateMachineAuth(#0).bin

I informed steamCooker about this problem long time ago, but any solution doesn't proposed by the CFT"s author.

There's an alternative to update your files...use the database here and download those patches/updates and use cft's patch function to get it updated. google this for a more detailed instructions...How To Update GCF / NCF Files.
