shmelle: not work. This are the steps that i did: 1. buy the game 2. install the game (create steam account, activate game, etc) 3. run game on steam, works, close steam 4. unzip loader.exe, rev.ini, Steam.dll and steamclient.dll from revolution loader package on dow2 dir and unzip steamclient.dll from revEmu package (current version is 9.72) on dow2 dir too 5. config rev.ini, put dow2.exe on Procname: ProcName=DOW2.exe 6. first try to run game, steam login windows popup 7. second and nexts trys to run game, popup message: "Application load error P:0000065434" 8. config rev.ini uncomment SteamClientDll line and type "SteamClientDll=C:\Archivos de programa\Steam\steamclient.dll" my original steamclient, create text steam_appid.txt on dir dow2 with "15620" type on it 9. run game, crash report |

havell Half the internet is playing Dawn of War 2 with revloader. Myself included. All versions up to the current 1.1.3 You did something wrong, try running the loader as administrator if you have Vista. |

The demo of The Maw has the same content of the full version, so it can be donwloaded from Steam. |

Cool, installing now  -- Edit -- OK, guide to make The Maw work correctly with revloader without steam running and full version. 1) Use revloader with a recent revemu steamclient.dll 2) Create a file named steam_appid.txt and put 26000 in it. 3) Use ProcName=Maw.bin to launch the game or ProcName=TheMaw.exe to launch the configuration utility Or just use my files  If you use the configuration utility, it will save the options in c:\prefs.xml , you need to move that file with the settings in the game's folder, or just edit the file I included. I will attach my files to this post.

I see The Maw has been updated today !!! And I read in the steam news about the new Steamworks infrastructure update they did, that's why it doesn't work. I guess you downloaded the game after I did, my content now shows outdated in CF Toolbox  You could try launching it with cracked steam, if it starts in demo mode, you should use MiSteam to make sure you have the correct subscriptions, not the demo one. Or you could wait for schmelle to update revemu. |

Can creators of this nice loader compile it in VS with parameter in Project: C/C++ -> Code Generation -> Runtime library -> Multithreaded (NOT DLL) to remove dependency on VC9.0 runtime redist, as it was done in revemu? Thanks in advise. |

Hi guys. I have a little problem: my server is running on Linux with rev-emu v2.1, on client i have installed rev-loader v2. When i try connect 2 the server (without steam) i get this error "STEAM certificate length error! 0/2048". With Steam (online or offline mode) i don't have any problems =\ What I must do to play on the server without Steam? my rev.cfg for rev-emu v2.1
