megadom & ArsNG There is mostly no language setting needed in rev.ini as most non-valve games use their own registry value or save the selected language in an *.ini or *.cfg file. If you use cracked Steam it automatically sets the correct registry value, RevLoader doesn't do this. If a game uses a registry value it always comes with an inst*.vdf file which contains al informations about its registry values. f.e. Dawn of War has lang settings in Regions.ini

Yeah, I've seen this, too, but I was ignoring it. I'm bored to debug/test properly, but maybe revloader would be more compatible if scmelle disabled that little thing that wasn't needed anymore *wink* *wink* Or the world can use 32-bit XP ... pretty please ?

Zbot dow2 is working fine using RevLoader 2 on Vista x64. Have you created the correct "steam_appid.txt"?

15620 is in "steam_appid.txt" which should be right and i'm on x32 sp1
here's a quick basic view of the loader/emu file position and directory structure
games\dawn of war 2\loader.exe (revloader v2) games\dawn of war 2\steam.dll (rev-emu v9.75) games\dawn of war 2\steamclient.dll (rev-emu v9.75) games\dawn of war 2\rev.ini (revloader v2) games\dawn of war 2\steam_appid.txt (notepad) games\dawn of war 2\locale.ini (language setting) games\dawn of war 2\DOW2.exe (THQ followed by the other game files ect.)
*scratches head*

Zbot You copied it directly from another PC where it worked without any problems? Don't know if RevLoader needs it, but have you installed Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable? Have you tried running loader.exe as admin. But as you said it works for Empire tw so these 2 posibilitys can not be the reason (it's the same pc I guess?), so dow2 should also work without problems. Check all your settings once agai, it should definitly work.

Yeah, I can't get it to work with revloader either. Don't know if a game update broke it or a revemu update, but anyway I made a little launcher to setup some regvalues correctly, then launch the game with the correct parameters and then delete those reg entries when the game exits. It's written in 2 minutes in autoit, I don't want to hear about any virus/trojan alerts plz, ok ? I've left the systray icon visible so you know while it's waiting for the game process to end Instructions : Drop the 3 files inside audiosurf/engine folder and run the launcher (I've included steamclient.dll from the revemu 9.75 package) http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/17/ ... uncher.rarP.S.: Also make sure your game content is correct through CFToolbox correct function or steam's Properties>validate game cache
