Make a backup of the original file and overwrite it with this. In the FEAR2 folder inside \steam\steamapps\

I can't connect to local network game in Warhammer Dawn of War 2 with latest loader, rev emu. Game start normaly, but i can't joint to game with message "Can't connect to server". Anybody can help me? I have latest game patch.
Sorry for bad English.

Loader launcher: start it with command line and 1) it'll put your command line into rev.ini after ProcName=xxx.exe 2) it'll start loader.exe For example: Loader_launcher.exe +connect ip:port Loader_launcher.exe puts "+connect ip:port" into rev.ini: ProcName=xxx.exe +connect ip:port and after that starts loader.exe
Also you can use loader_launcher.exe next way: Loader_launcher.exe myloader.exe +connect ip:port It'll put "+connect ip:port" into rev.ini and start myloader.exe (this is the case if your name of rev-loader is different from the default)

thank you steaming noob it works on xp but not on VISTA tried to run as administrator but it still get the same error Sorry, Audiosurf wasn't able to connect to Steam. Please exit and bla bla bla .  but it works on xp! and once again thank you very much!' ps: you are so coool

zelfrontialzzDamn, I haven't tested on vista. I'm on vacation so I can't work on it but you could try installing the 2008 c++ redistributable sp1 for your vista. Maybe that's the problem. As for the guys with the L4D problems, try using the modified executable schmelle posted : download/file.php?id=8225First rename/backup the original file

revLoader 2.1The changes below were made so that revLoader can support: starting more than just a games executable. (e.g. have shortcuts to start both the game and its configuration program)
Multiple games that exist in the same Steam common folder. Changelog [01.05][*] Added ability to run with the following command line options: -appid <APPID> where <APPID> is the application in question.
If supplied revLoader will create a steam_appid.txt file with the value specified. -launch <PROCNAME> where <PROCNAME> is the executable to launch
All other command line options are passed through to the launched executable, so:
revLoader.exe -appid 12345 -launch MyApp.exe -silent /help
This will create a steam_appid.txt file with the value 12345 Before launching MyApp.exe with the arguments -silent /help

Testing new revloader I found few games that are not working with revloader as long as you don't copy a vaild clientregistry.blob too. Games that don't work without clientregistry.blob: Quake, Quake 2, Quake 3,... Comparing both logs (with and without clientregistry.blob), that's the only difference: without clientregistry.blob: - 14:29:24:136 [3716\2824] SteamIsAppSubscribed: 2320 0 0
