rev.ini ProcName=dow2.exe SteamClientDll=steamclient.dll Whom do I send the game's crash DUMP files? What is the log file name? I have Vista and I don't see any log files in that dir. Could it be UAC? |

But revloader is useless with/for the retail executable

mpeg3s Comment out SteamClientDLL and it should work. And I'm sure the two lines you worte aren't the only in your rev.ini. |

The Rev Loader works ONLY if you delete the file: wintrust.dll Thanks to another site for this new info. PeJpepiG wrote: mpeg3s

Then it was a problem with the preorder content unlocker, not DoW2. It works fine ! Also, you can get the crack for gta4 1.3.0 on gamefix. Google it. And if you want Xliveless, google it. |

shmelle About the problem with DoW2 not working if ClientDLL is set: It looks like if that value is set the steamclient.dll specified there is used instead of revemu's steamclient.dll. Because of this it will fail with an application load error 3:00000065432 (digital signature check?) as the original steamclient.dll specified by ClientDLL doesn't include the function to fix this problem that revemu's steamclient.dll includes. (You'll get similar problems/errors if you just use original steamclient.dll instead of revemu's steamclient.dll) |

I'm having a bit of a problem with the loader and DoW2 patch 1.3.1. I keep getting the 3:000065432 error when I run the loader. I'm using the rev.ini, revloader.exe and steam.dll from the loader 2.2 and the steamclient.dll from the revemu 9.78 RC2. My rev.ini looks like this: [Loader] # Specify the name of the application to load. # You can also specify the command line. # ProcName=dow2.exe # Specify the location of the original steamclient.dll # which comes with Steam client # You can comment this line out if the game doesn't use it # SteamClientDll=steamclient2.dll Any help would be appreciated, as I've tried numerous combinations of various versions of patches and loader / emu versions and nothing seems to work. Always the same 3:0000065432 error. I also tried patching Steam logging to an account and running DoW2 exe from steam but it gives an error code 54. EDIT: If it helps I'm using Vista 32bit SP1, and I have the VC 2008 redistributable installed. |
