create a cfg folder where the srcds.exe is
Put the CONF file in the cfg folder

Put file which is in SCI into the orangebox/bin folder

Then

Spoiler
Quote:

1) STEAM3(SOURCE 2007 AND ABOVE)/STEAM2(SOURCE CLASSIC):
Find a STEAM_API module in [Server Root]\bin | [Server Root]/bin subfolder. It will be called steam_api.dll[Windows] or
steam_api_i486.so/libsteam_api_i486.so/libsteam_api_linux.so/libsteam_api.so[Linux].

2) STEAM3(SOURCE 2007 AND ABOVE):
Remember the name of the file you've found during performing [STEP (1)] (I'll call it %STEAM_API_MODULE_ORG_NAME% later to reference it) and
rename it to valve_api.dll[Windows] or valve_api.so[Linux]

3) STEAM3(SOURCE 2007 AND 2007 U2) LINUX:
Copy the file [Release Archive]/LINUX/INIT/STEAM3(Source 2007 And 2007 U2)/steam_api.so into [Server Root]/bin

4) STEAM3(SOURCE 2007 AND ABOVE):
Rename the library you've extracted in {3} to %STEAM_API_MODULE_ORG_NAME%
OTHERS:
I've already specified specified proper names and gave matching names to files in release. No need to rename.

Had problems with clients connecting to server with the latest valve update that improves server queries...

Had to revert back to older engine.dll
If anyone needs it: http://localhostr.com/files/1vuQaO5/engine.dll

Hi mate. It is better to explain him how to do.
When the first update will come, he'll be lost again.

Good luck

sudo
I don't know him and you don't.
I helped several members like zhelev81 with teamwiever and now he can do it by himself.

Please, think before you post and stop polluting threads with useless messages.

Can you fix eSteamation to be compatible with Source 2007 "orangebox" (Not Source 2009 like CS:S, TF2,...). I am setting a server for Cspromod BETA 1.05 and eSteamation cause crashes when start the server.

Cannot confirm - Current TF2 works just fine on Windows with eST

Confirmed. Current L4D2 on Windows crashes with eST+ CB Control during client connect without BINCACHE and crashes during start-up with BINCACHE
Cause: Misdetection of PostCallbackInternal
Status: Adjusted search range. If it's not found within suggested range then heuristics will fail(CB Control will not be activated) - This will prevent using erroneus locations and malfunction. CB System adjusted to support new steamclient from L4D2 and as of CURRENT TRUNK(03.02.2011) of eST CB-Control works fine without problems.

Notice that KF servers needs to be patched with VUP/UGSP. Otherwise cracked clients will be kicked after a few minutes

Youve referenced quite old post from csmania - It was before ive added KF steamclient support to CB:Control extension(Somewhere btw RC7 and RC8 - dont remember exactly).

[All]
Current changes for TRUNK:
1) Added support for latest items system for TF2(Credits to bir3yk - our items geek) to SCI/STEAM3.
2) Added support for latest steamclient 2009 from bir3yk with TF2 items to SCI/STEAM3(Client uses new list format).
3) Added support for steamclient 2009 builds of bir3yk with 152-byte tokens(The same old RevEmu 4-Th Gen from eST_STEAM2 module) to SCI/STEAM3.
4) Updated CB-Control heuristics to be more strict(fail if something is suspicious or inconsistent) and added support for newv steamclient.dll libraries(Especially from L4D2).
5) Fixed buffer overflow vulnerability then client provides some item in it's list not present in server's eST XIS-DB. [SECURITY]
6) Fixed erroneus free during NSNet server thread start-up on Windows. [STABILITY]

Known issues:
1)Ppl reported that sometimes they see lot's of filtered "No Steam Logon"(Problems with Steam Connection" messages from one client following each other with high right and then resulting in server crash - The issue should be tracked down(Issue is rare but considered release critical). [STABILITY]

That's all for now. Next version is targeted to be 2.0 FINAL

CB extension kicks Nosteam players with the error that this guy reported on csmania. This happens after ~5/10 minutes. The only way to fix this is by using VUP/UGSP. CB extension should be fixed & be more stable for KF.
