Search here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=46386 and here viewtopic.php?f=22&t=51211 for updates. If they are posted, and Im pretty sure they are, they are posted there. But I assume you need to do alot of 1-2 patch then 2-3 patch etc etc. |

recently there was another left 4 dead 1 update...probably with the new protection system -_- i tried to update the extracted version and revemu never works. I will try to stop the update at crashcourse Finally with 2.0.0.5 and stryder loader left 4 dead 2 extracted works as i said in stryder topic i have some troubles: no music (i hear only audio, but without music) no ammo no subtitles no text of any kind :\ for left 4 dead 2, static void try to check this: the extracted version from dvd sis sid haves only the *.vpk packages untill the numer *10.vpk (inside your left 4 dead 2 directory\left4dead2\ ) the patches haves from 23 to 25. i fixed it copying the missed vpk. Or maybe there's another way to extract the remaning vpk without copy them from the legit copy of left 4 dead 2? |

If there're *.sim, *.sis and *.sid files on the disk, then you can try extracting it with Phoenix (i suppose, i got it right). If you haven't updated the CDR, then goto Instruments -> Update ContentDescriptionRecord -> Internet. Then goto Instruments -> SID Unpacker. There press Scan SIM-file button and browse the necessary file. After that you can click on the game in the upper listbox or select NCFs at the lower one manually. Press Unpack then and wait for the end of extraction. After you've unpacked the game you can try Drag-n-Dropping its main exe file onto the Game List in the main menu. |

New beta is out. Let me know if you find any bugs in it. Don't forget to include Phx_debug_log.txt into your post. |

$t@t!c_V()1D For now I only have problem with L4D. The program wants hl2.exe Either use revLoader or the cracked .exe from the revEmu FAQ. Noobs don't know much about hl2.exe Can't test with L4D2,but I can say that third party Steam games work flawlessly, like Audiosurf |

Source_engine wrote: For now I only have problem with L4D. Errrm...I always forget to remove that stuff from launching. By default there's hl2.exe-based L4D1 launching. The program wants hl2.exe Go to Main -> Loaded plugins list. There select "Phoenix default plugin" and press "Settings". In the appeared dialog uncheck "Use hl2.exe for L4D launch"...i'll definitely remove it in the next version .

Thanks L4D works flawlessly now I've also noticed in the "Mod settings" all the resolutions are for 4:3 monitors. I know this is one of your smallest problems but adding at least 16:9 resolutions won't be ban either, not everyone knows the exact numbers Perhaps add them in the final version |

Hello, i'm using phoenix, and i have a problem with launching Portal, Ep2 and TF. HL and EP1 works fine. I'm using sim files from original Orange Box DVDs. Have you got any idea what should i do to run Portal? |

"Invalid or corrupt background texture materials/console/startup_loading.vtf" I think, that unpacking was correct, BUT - Phoenix doesn't allow to unpack older and newer version of Source engine at the same time (at least that is how i understand it...). Maybe this is the cause of errors? |
