zeus83 Try "Reset game configurations" or "Refresh SDK content". Cocaineskin You use either Steam (Cracked Steam) or Phx + crack. As far as latter do the following:

Thank you very much, but last thing, I'm just confused as to where to unpack the files... *Sorry, where I place the files once they're unpacked. |

zeus83 Seems like VALVe haven't updated that for CSS. OK, I'll try to fix that. Cocaineskin You should have unpacked the files into some dir you had specified in the Destination folder field. I don't know what files in crack do you have - you'd better know - but unpack them in that Destination folder and enjoy gaming (...or whatever )

I need the latest CDR since I'm unable to download it from the program (no internet at home). Also, this can install stuff off of retail discs and update the gcfs/ncfs right? |

AgentOrange As for updating the CDR, you can always grab the latest here (last updated 27.12.2010 23:05:43) and unpack it into <Phoenix.exe folder>\Phx_Data\Res\bin_ClientRegistry. If you want to transfer the program with updated CDR to another computer, makу sure to move Phx_data folder and Phx_Settings.ini file with the Phoenix.exe as well. As for the updating GCFs|NCFs, I'm right now working on that stuff - Rain.dll has a real potential |

what a fantastic program phoenix is, I love it and I give it a 10 out of 10. I recently bought "darksiders" and I do not want some crappy steam working my computer. so I used phoenix to extract the game files and it worked perfectly |

OK, relaunching beta testing with new version 'cause there're too much changes for yet another 1.4 beta. Check CFT functionality @ Main -> RAIN CF manager. And yes, I'd better name it a "toolkit" rather than "launcher" because there's more than to just launching games. |

Quote: phoenix heat burned steam 's soul hhhhh great tool thank you. ![]() And, BTW, forgot to mention that you can close and reopen the RAIN CF window at any time during downloads - it doesn't matter whether you close while some things are in progress, they would run further in background. I haven't yet included a message that stops from accidental closing while cache is updating/downloading, so if you close Phoenix, the download won't be completed and you won't be warned whether you would like to "wait a minute for the download to complete". |

Updates and fixes...and Homefront is unavailable for unpacking at the moment. And not a single game will ever be available for unpacking till its release date. The encryption is a serious thing |

I don't think you meant extracting SIM file. Supposing you meant viewing SIM file structure, do you want me to implement SIM file browser and ability to extract any file? |
