Hi, great forum and software :)

Can someone post manifest file version 6635295041431254643 for Sleeping Dogs? File is called 202171_6635295041431254643.manifest.

I've tried using sisInstall getManifest, but no luck. I get the same errors like sam2k8 in this thread.

steamCooker gotta fix the tool because he didn't forsee that the content would be encrypted (as well as me, lol). So we just wait\work.

Still not possible to download manifest files as it giving error.

Also not show sku.sis information. I updated CDR many times but giving error that CDR update require.

What to do buddy?

Posted a new version with retail ACF dvd support, and a new option to download all the required manifests / keys.
you must own the game to download them.
if the manifest can't be downloaded, you can try to edit the sku.sis file to change the manifests versions for the latest ones.
the extracted files will the surely be incomplete and will have to be validated / updated with TINcft

Naaaahhh still not work. Even after CDR Update, Its not given INFO of SKU.SIS. Its said that CDR update is require whereas CDR is updated.

Further, not able to get manifests as it said "not authorized". I change the manifest information in sku.sis but same error. (Note: Steamguard is disable).

If you advise how to do it to get get Manfest files (pic tutorial) then it help.

Hello,

I'm having trouble installing Borderlands 2 retail DVD. I updated the CDR fine and downloaded the manifests and the depotkeys using your program. I renamed sisInstall.exe to sis.exe by the way (if it should matter).

I run this command (filling in the areas as needed)...
sis extractAll <skuFile.sis> <destination root folder>

It works and begins extracting the data there. But when it starts to extract the next file it has an error and stops, so I extracted each file manually using...
sis extract <skuFile.sis> <destination folder> <cfId>

They all extract fine but it doesn't seem all the game's files are there. The "Binaries" folder is completely missing.

Also I tried using the latest version of Phoenix but it just crashes. Any ideas? Maybe there is something I am missing.

Edit: Took laptop to town and finished downloading the remaining 3% of the game on Steam. Can now copy the game to any computer and apply crack to run game.

beret21, it seems that the files are encrypted, i didn't anticipated that, i need to find a direct download of the dvd and i also need the manifests. i will also need decryption keys, using a tool i'll make, executed by someone who own the game. with this, i can update sisInstall ;)

@steamCooker:

with the latest version of sisinstall (20120829b), if the depotkey is in the same folder as sisInstall.exe, entering "." (a dot -- to tell sisInstall the file is in the current directory), when asked for the path, causes the following error:

ERROR : Exception (0) : Unknown decryption key

This does not occur with the manifest file; this one can be in the same folder as sisInstall.exe.


Also, If I can make 2 suggestions:
  • I believe that by default, sisInstall should automatically check the current directory for the depotkey and manifest files, and only ask for these if they aren't found there.
  • Maybe the commands shouldn't be case-sensitive; for example "sisinstall.exe update" works, but not "sisinstall.exe UPDATE".

Just my 2 cents...
