Hi!
So I just tried LumaEmu 157 on Plague Inc:Evolved but it doesn't seem to work at all (or I am doing something wrong). I downloaded Plague on a legit Steam-Account and went to the "..\common"-folder where "PlagueInc" is located.
I copied all that content and put it on a different PC in the same spot. Then I renamed steam_api.dll to ValveApi.dll und put in the new x86's steam_api.dll, steamclient.dll and LumaEmu.ini. Then I opened the LumaEmu.ini and changed the following entry:

The rest I left untouched.
Then I saved the ini and tried to start the game's exe but it didnt' work. The game didn't even start. I saw that ring windows does, when it tries to start something, but then *nothing*.

Am I doing something wrong? Or doesn't it work with that game?

€dit: Huh...ok...I re-did all the steps and now the game runs...but only to throw "You need Steam to play this game" in my face :cry:
Is this a known problem?

It's compressed with 7zip (.7z) to about 300mb. Took me about 45 minutes to upload.

The game mentioned above has some serious problems with steam emus generally, I tried all emus I had at hand (LumaEmu v1.3.5 - v1.5.7, CODEX, SKIDROW, ALI213, CPY, old RLD) and none of them worked, the game either freezes with an error message popping up or crashes to desktop instantly or gives out a steam error... The only emu by now that can handle this game properly is the 3DM one. I don't know if there's some kind of hidden protection in the .exe or in the unity .dlls, but it's kinda weird... :?

Anyway, thanks for the new LumaEmu version! ::)

i tried this a while ago with lumaemu and i also had no problems at all with it. worked perfectly.

Hm...so what am I doing wrong, then? I mean I got the game to work, but the game still seem to need steam (that message).
Did you do something different?

*EDIT* I've opened the Plague Inc game that he has given above just fine with LumaEmu, Im logged into steam but it doesnt recognize game thus I dont have steamoverlay, why is that? and if there is way to earn in game achievements in this game using LumaEmu?

I have to correct myself: Plague Inc. Evolved works flawlessly with LumaEmu in all versions tested, my first results were wrong because of a corrupted original steam_api.dll... I apologize for the confusion... :oops:

Thanks for developing this great emulator. I have a suggestion for the next version: 64bit cracked dll's and Steam2WrapperLauncher_x64 should look automatically (by default) at steamclient64.dll if you didn't specified the DLL path in LumaEmu.ini. The same for 32bit counterpart.

Thanks for the update, keep up the good work :wink: . kernel128 idea is really nice so we wont need to manualy change it just like SSE does from what i saw.

Also would it be possible for an option to store the IDs on a private server? So people wont be able to spoof their ID that easy? Again thanks for your work :cool: .
