Wait, I just want to clarify this to myself. LumaEmu only works on dedicated servers if they are set to LAN only? Right? |

Any chance to get Don't Starve support. Online it want Account, Offline it can host Server but instantly crash on connecting =( |

It seems to work on "War in the North", but not "RAGE", how come? EDIT: Okay, WitN was actually a very lucky guess, I really don't know how to use LumaEmu. I tried putting it on Castle Crashers and it didn't work. Did I do it wrong and should use the "Source Engine SteamPipe (ACF)" method installation instead? When do I know what to use? Besides, what do these instructions mean?

LumaEmu doesn't work with .exes that have an additional protection like steamstub or CEG, that's why you couln't get both RAGE and Castle Crashers to run, you need cracked .exes in these cases... For the Source Engine method, it is meant for games that use Valve's Source Engine (obviously...), like Portal 2 or Left 4 Dead 2... To take the latter one as example: You'll find a "left4dead2.exe" in the game's base folder, this file has to be substituted by the "SourceEngineLauncher.exe" renamed to "left4dead2.exe" in addition to the other LumaEmu files (steamclient.dll, steam_appid.txt) needed... Then you create a shortcut to your "new" .exe and put in the parameter -game left4dead2, so that it looks like: "Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2.exe" -game left4dead2 This method works analogously with almost every other Source Engine game... |

It still somehow looked strange at how it was called "Source Engine SteamPipe (ACF)". Just with "Source" you can guess it is for Source games, but then it has .ACF, all the games after 2013 around there got turned from .GCF and .NCF to .ACF, so... Anyway, I'm trying to make "EYE Divine Cybermancy" run, I'm trying it with the Source Engine SteamPipe method. Put the steamclient.dll in bin (renaming the original one to steamclientOLD.dll), Put SteamEngineLauncher.exe and renamed it to EYE.exe (had to rename to original to EYE2.exe though), made a shortcut and put "-game EYE" on it, added steamappid.txt exactly where the game .exe is located, added LumaEmu.ini changing the path to where the new steamclient.dll is at (In /bin). Did I miss something? Every time I try to start with the shortcut I just get "The local Steam Service is not running". For RAGE and Castle Crashers, what I did it is all good, but one extra step; Crack the .exe. Can I dare ask where I can find a crack for those two games? |

I'm just downloading E.Y.E on steam to check if it actually works with LumaEmu, we'll see in an hour... For the cracked .exes, search the corresponding gamethreads for them, you'll succeed eventually... ![]() EDIT: I can't get a "pure" SourceEngineLauncher setup working with E.Y.E too, I need at least the LumaEmu x86 "Legacy" files in addition to the base files... Attached you'll find a working LumaEmu setup for the game...

LumaEmu 1.5.9 is nuked for Rust, doesnt work even with the latest version but version 1.5.8 works fine with no issues. |

Thanks Christsnatcher. By the way, is there any way I can play Gmod with the Workshop addons working and so? I'll get the latest version from a friend's account. Or is that not possible with LumaEmu? |

Just tested the updated version of Fable Anniversary (that comes with the new steam API version) with LumaEmu v1.5.9, the .exe runs, but the game actually doesn't start... The .exe keeps running in task manager until it's forced to close... Log is attached as usual. Thanks for your time Steam006!

i have this insanly spaming in my serverside logs ( dayz luma 1.5.9)
and it like goes for about 2500 entries in 10 minutes with 1 player

7 Days to Die Alpha 10 doesnt work, with normal modes says api is missing, with wrapper gets into main menu but on pressing the connect to server button crashes (most likely because of missing api). This could be something they use https://github.com/rlabrecque/Steamworks.NET. If you want i can upload you the game files if needed, thanks. |

Do you use the Alpha 10 version by 3DM? It has additional byte checks on the steam_api64.dll and - like I guess - on the CSteamworks.dll too... So try the attached LumaEmu wrapper setup on your game if you wish, it's working fine for me...

Does anyone know how "Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition" works? It has no steam_api. All I know is that the game was first released on Windows' bullshitty Games for Windows Live. |

Sorry for my stupid question, but... how i can use custom steamID with lumaemu steamclient.dll? Maybe i can path that? Or ... can i type custom id into the lumaemu.ini? I wanna create whitelist for my servers with static not generated IDs. Если что, - я русский:)) |
