steamcooker
Can you add the feature to download the update for outdated files, like in CFToolbox?

Posted an updated, you can now update ACF games.
this is still beta ... so please don't forget to make backups.

Could you please make tests, updating all depots, only some depots, applying rollbacks and so on,
making strange actions, to see if the thing works good ?

thank you all !

i'll "soon" start to integrate the downloader.

Wow good job, I like how it shows all manifests when you create version.
now it's time to make some serious tests.

by the way it shows Valvetestapp for some acf file, I think it gets the name from game Installation Directory in CDR.

the real name is available in the appinfocache ?

For the games in the screenshot both the CDR and AppInfo contain the real name. But it looks like you are using the installdir field not the name field (index in cdr for name is 2 and for install_dir it's 3).

Is Counter-Strike Global Offensive listed as a beta? I have the old Beta ACF and the "retail" ACF (a friend owns the game and sent me the files).

CSGO's installation directory is still listed as "Counter-Strike Global Offensive Beta" in the CDR, that's why GreenLuma can't start the game if the game files is in the "Counter-Strike Global Offensive" folder. I think the acf should be the same.

Just took a look at the AppInfo. It's containing the correct installdir:
  1. 730:
  2.     'Config':
  3.     {
  4.         'contenttype': '3',
  5.         'installdir': 'Counter-Strike Global Offensive',
  6.         ...
  7.     },

Seems like steam only uses the appinfo for games with contenttype 3 and Valve doesn't care about updating the CDR.
The only change between the beta and retail acf should be a change in the installdir (and updated manifests.)
