I think the pattern is that everyone whos source works doesnt have steam currently installed or any type of six-steam or anything. Thats just my theory

pppatcher loading six steam, no errors, so far at least

have original steam client with ppatcher, and it works for all games only the offline mode is impossible!
no such ticket error! I think this is some fault of the fake key method!

Hi maybe i have stupid question but where this pacher must be innstalated? in steam folder?
becouse i extract this in the steam folder and traing start with steam launcher and dosn't work at all.but befor that game was started and after im traing get on srwer was error ticket.sry for my english and waiting for some clue.thx

whits folder do i have to tak the ppacher.exe to?

here another reality i ve normal steam and normal ppatcher.. i was getting that ticket error since i am using ppatcher(from almost emporıo update 8 or more!). but it was askıng me once(only 1 password askıng as ticket error) everytime i try to getin a server for play. but i can play normaly after 1st password insert before last update of steam... now its impossible to get in a server.. always askıng password.. any idea? maybe this can help somethings . i hope..

I need a little help here, I got one of my 4 PCs SiX-STEAM clients running, it's the only one still allowing me to play online (CSS/HL2 DM) the other 3 are screwed...

I really want to help others aswell as myself and will do my best but I lack understanding in one area, although you will say "what a fucking idiot" it doesn't matter, so long as we can all play and work it out you can call me whatever you guys like LOL.

I wish to copy the entire folder over by either burning it on a DL DVD as the files are rather large or possibly extract the files that still allow this SiX-STEAM client to still play (I have been restarting and shutting this PC down for a while too, just never tried to play online with it assuming it wouldn't work anymore).

Here's the problem - Which files contain all the user info such as Username, Password, Previously used accounts etc...?

All help will be appreciated and I will try to help others also.

mine worked fine few days ago with ppatcher untill some dick head called SALAMI told me to try if my account gets gay ticket error round his house with his steam and now with my steam i get. it all thx to him grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ok, are the people running this with PPATCHER all modifiying their .cfg's custom as to keep the likelihood that steam would find out waaaayyy down? I mean, here's my theory:

Randomly have ur ppatcher switch between exploit methods that work.

Try tweaking ur own .cfg file from what ppl are saying...

Let's actually figure out if the .gcf's contain vital information on account legitimacy.

Also, make sure your copy of PPATCHER _REALLY DOES_ prevent your .gcf's from being updated.

Make sure the registry keys don't have anything special different from those who are "afflicted".

also, i'm still contemplating the differences between warez and bandwidth hogging... I'm sure valve would probably have less of a problem if people were less able to download the gcf's from their servers, and instead had scene releases -- ie, warez, bittorrent's, etc.
Basically, most people on here now already have the .gcf's, or know how to get them. The problem is actually using them to play online. That's all that most ppl care about.

The only 1 account I had still working is perm banned.

Edited - Got my 1 year old account running with a new password as I forgot it and had steam send me an email, up and running again!

its just a different .ppc, and it didnt work with others to fix the error I really see no reason why my games are still working...the only thing i did differently then you guys, is that I had all my steam games (originally installed from gcf extraction 2 months ago) saved on disk....when i used ppatcher, and installed all the steam games...i deleted cstrike folder in counter strike folder in steam/steamapps/my steam account name folder. then i replaced it with my saved cstrike folder from my extracted cstrike folder that I had been playing on before I used ppatcher. I am almost sure this has nothing to do with why I can still play....the cstrike folder was created with a steam account that was banned for exploits, and I redid the steam account almost 3 weeks ago now.

I don't want to jinx myself, but I installed ppatcher about a week ago or less, and I have been able to play online with Source and have been able to download the games that I want.

I got the ticket error as well a couple of days ago...

What I did was switch to my legal account (it has CS and CZ on it) and I was able to play all Source games again.
