Hi,

Using SiX-STEAM and it's working, all games work nps...

I wish to save the entire folder onto a Dual layered DVD as I have downloaded many games, only problem is when I install SiX-Steam on another PC and create a new account as I do not have any older ones (besides me legit ones and only a fuckhead would risk his $80AUD accounts on a hacked client) which files from my saved working SiX-STEAM need to be deleted? Again I am trying to bring over files from 1 PC to another and DO NOT want the username and password info etc to be brought over also.

P.S. If I can get this working maybe I can then upload my files somewhere which will also get us all back online, I am willing to help anyone who is willing to help me.

Delete clientregistry blob and config/SteamAppData.vdf

Burn all your .gcf files in the steamapps directory and install steam or six steam or whatever on the other computer and add the burnt .gcf files to the steamapps directory on your friends computer.

The .gcf files contain the games.

I assume nothing in REGEDIT needs to be played around with?

I will be trying your method also as you never know what might just work but I have a question...

In the CONFIG folder there is a file known as userdata_1406xxxx (the x's represent other numbers that may be the Unique USERID?) what do I do with this folder?

OK, this is what I have done so far...

I installed SiX-STEAM, created a new username logged in very first time. Closed the app down from SYSTRAY.

Followed GarGaMel's procedure then restart SiX shorcut icon on my DESKTOP...

This has not worked for me so this confirms that it is not to do so much with the .CFG files but I will try Cy4n1d3's method.

Well I have tried this for a while now and have come to this conclusion...

It seems that accounts made prior the 20th of Jan work well, ones made later have issues when theres no key assigned to the username. I made 12 accounts in total and out of them only 1 works, although about 5 or 6 were made at the same time the one that works was made, I never used that ever when I got the ID ticket errors so STEAM must be disabling accounts that <1. Do not have keys assigned to them <2. Username that has been used when there has been a TICKET ID issue.

I now beleive it's username related and even my STEAM that I used which works has these so called newer files everyone claims only was introduced on the 19th of Jan update.

Thank you very much for your help, maybe tomorow with a refreshed brain I may be able to try other methods.
