Hello i have a few questions, but my english is not so good. i am german!
ok, i have steam down and i downloaded counterstrike 1.6 by 100%. then i have non steam down for online playing on crack servers. I can play online on crack servers, too, but my question is: How can i host a counterstrike 1.6 server, so that my friends connect to me or other guys see this server with the server browser? What have to do to host a game? I will just host cs 1.6 and nothing other game.

please tell me step by step. i have read so much threads about tis topic but i am so confused

You have to download a file which replaces your nonsteam dedicated server file, which i dont have..

and then add commands like 'sv_lan 1' and '-nomaster'

I did it once, but it was so laggy and eats up so much bandwidth

I wouldn't bother opening one unless you have a great internet connection and a fast computer

in which folder i must replace the file? in dedicated or source dedicated server?

Note: i would like to host a normal Conterstrike 1.6 server, where i can play with my friends online.
