When I updated the NCF the only file that was invalid was client.dll.

Here is the update from v2.0.0.0 to v2.0.0.4.
All files are valid in cf toolbox and all files are from legit Left 4 Dead 2.

Hi. This is my first post:

I downloaded ThePirateGay version with the demo .dll (the earliest release i guess)
I ran the executable that unpacks the l4d2 folder (my unpacked game cannot run w/o patch) and DID NOT APPLY ANY PATCH except:
I patched it with the Stryder loader (the latest, with the .bat file that launches a cmd line)
Started the loader and then...

...Played..

Everything worked: melee weapons, the menu, killing a witch, the dead center finale, hazmat zombies, did not CTD after each level, showed endgame stats, did not CTD when special infected are around. No noticeable lagging. Kinda wish the AI did not suck but that's another matter.

I haven't tested online play or the other modes yet but straight campaign, it worked like a charm.

Game version is 2.0.0.0, I am afraid of patching it up cause it might break the damn thing again. So any of you guys want to work on the same path I took?

Conversely, I was playing the TPG release with the hybridpack+ZCP proper crack+old stryder launcher (the one without the .bat file)


It was pretty good too. It didnt have hazmat zombies, working menus and endgame stats but everything else is present despite having the demo client.dll

Overall, just sharing my thoughts for everyone who is still frustrated about their l4d2 experience.

edit:
garena doesnt support the stryder launcher as the official launcher and thus i cannot host games. i tried connecting to a game but that game was version 2.0.0.3; it did say that i was on the wrong version so yes, i can play online with this but i haven't had a chance yet cause everyone is running .1 to .3 already.

Is there anyway to play the Survival Mode with Hamachi ?
We only can play the Coop Mode via Hamachi.

guys i found this from my friend,so i thought of sharing this.
with this mod you can change Rochelle's model with zoey.
i tried it on my game and its working fine.

Yeah, Im also using Zoey mod, but one problem about this mod is that she looks a bit clumbsy and short compared to what she used to in the original game because she uses Rochelle's skeleton and animations. Hopefully someone make a mod using original skeleion and animation when SDK hits

Guys it's a goddamn model,I think it can be done with just VTF Edit,and a few other tools.Only the textures are repainted that's all.

i downloaded the preloaded version then i extracted it with pheonix and im runing with stryder crack.
i didn't use anything to enable it.

i think with VTF Edit you can only change model but in this mod the HUD pic and name is also changed.
correct me if im wrong.
